Hello everyone, a pleasure to greet you again, I am pleased to share with you once again in this great community of ladies, it caught my attention this contest #53 of the community @ladiesofhive where he invites us to answer 1 of the 2 questions that makes us this incredible community, so I decided to answer only one, here is my answer.
- Prefieres quedarte sin agua ni luz durante una semana?/ Would you rather go without water and electricity for a week?
Anteriormente se podía vivir sin luz, y porque no ahora? la electricidad es algo indispensable en la vida cotidiana pero no es algo que se necesita para vivir o sobrevivir, recuerdo que en mi niñez mi padre nos llevaba mucho al campo y pasabámos allí varios días, y eran tiempos en que la mayoria de las casas no tenían luz pero sí contaban con agua, ya que había muchos ríos alrededor del campo. Hace algunos años se usaban lámparas con gravedad, máquinas de coser de pedal, lavadoras con pedal, en fin.
In the past you could live without electricity, and why not now? electricity is something indispensable in everyday life but it is not something you need to live or survive, I remember that in my childhood my father took us to the countryside and we spent several days there, and those were times when most of the houses did not have electricity but they did have water, as there were many rivers around the countryside. Some years ago we used gravity lamps, pedal sewing machines, pedal washing machines, in short.
- Creo que si nos llegamos a quedar sin luz durante una semana sería una ventaja para nosotros, ya que tendríamos tiempo para compartir en familia y más con nuestros hijos, estudiarían más, conversarían más, ayudarían en las tareas del hogar, compartieran con sus amigos, ya que la tecnología nos aparta de esa convivencia, los niños como los jóvenes hoy día se mantienen más en el mundo de la computadora, teléfonos, tablet, Tv, y están tan distraídos que se olvidan del mundo y su alrededor, así que pienso que sí puediéramos vivir sin luz por una semana y hasta más.
- I think that if we were to be left without electricity for a week it would be an advantage for us, since we would have time to share with our family and more with our children, they would study more, talk more, help with household chores, share with their friends, since technology takes us away from that coexistence, children and young people today are kept more in the world of the computer, phones, tablet, TV, and are so distracted that they forget the world and their surroundings, so I think we could live without electricity for a week and even more.
- Ahora con el agua es muy distinto, así que prefiero mil veces estar sin luz que sin agua, ya que éste es un líquido importantisimo en la vida del ser humano, con este liquído se puede hacer muchas cosas y es necesario para todo, para la tierra, la agricultura, las plantas, y es que ante la escases de este vital liquído se puede producir la escasez de alimentos a nivel mundial. Del agua depende la vida en el planeta por esto es necesario para todos.
- Now with the water is very different, so I prefer a thousand times to be without light than without water, because this is a very important liquid in the life of the human being, with this liquid you can do many things and is necessary for everything, for the land, agriculture, plants, and is that the shortage of this vital liquid can produce food shortages worldwide.
