In just three days the 6th season of #POLIAC starts, with each season the number of participants grows. This time we will be completed by 48 participants from all over the world This tournament started almost a year ago as a game exclusively for Polish @actifit users with guest participation of @bucipuci (Czech Republic). In the memorable first season, @bucipuci's steps were divided by two, and he still won. In the second season, we opened up to participants from other countries. In search of " equalizing" chances of weaker participants initially, there was a factor that promoted weaker ones, but in the third season, it was abolished, because it distorted results too much, who participated in that tournament knows what I mean. Since then, only the number of steps reported in the post of a given day is taken into account. Due to a large number of participants and the large discrepancy in reported results, I have introduced a division into the 1st and 2nd league since the fourth season. I have now added more work for myself by introducing a 3rd league from the 6th season, I think this will be the limit of #POLIAC league expansion. Those wishing to participate in future seasons will simply be put on a "Waiting List" as I did for @ziabutt3836 and I will watch their progress. So much for the long introduction, time for a short presentation of the participants of the 1st league.
[POL] Już za trzy dni staruje szósty sezon #POLIAC, z każdym sezonem liczba uczestników wzrasta. Tym razem będzie nas rywalizowało 48 uczestników z całego świata, a zaczynał się ten turniej jako zabawa wyłącznie dla polskich użytkowników @actifit z gościnnym udziałem @bucipuci (Czechy). W pamiętnym pierwszym sezonie kroki @bucipuci dzielone były przez dwa, a mimo tego wygrał. W drugim sezonie otworzyliśmy się na uczestników z innych krajów. W poszukiwaniu "wyrównania" szans słabszych uczestników początkowo funkcjonował współczynnik, który promował słabszych, ale w trzecim sezonie został zniesiony, bo za bardzo wypaczał on wyniki, kto brał udział w tamtym turnieju wie o czym mowa. Od tamtego czasu brana jest wyłącznie pod uwagę liczba kroków zaraportowana w poście z danego dnia. Z racji na dużą liczbę uczestników i dość dużą rozbieżność w raportowanych wynikach, od czwartego sezonu wprowadziłem podział na 1 i 2 ligę. Obecnie dodałem sobie pracę wprowadzając 3 ligę od szóstego sezonu, myślę, że to już będzie limit rozszerzania ligi #POLIAC. Chętnych do udziału w kolejnych sezonach będę po prostu wpisywał na "Listę oczekujących" jak to zrobiłem w przypadku @ziabutt3836 i będę obserwował ich postępy. Tyle przydługiego wstępu czas na krótką prezentację uczestników 1 ligi #POLIAC.
POLIAC 6.1
The top division is contested by participants who have been in the tournament for at least three seasons. The defending champion is American @manuvert showing very consistent form throughout the season, he is one of four participants who have averaged over 30K steps. Next to him on the podium were a pair of Bulgarians @venan and @mariya36 (she was a debutant in the 1st league), both very solid, but sometimes they had small slip-ups. Just behind the podium was Czech @bucipuci, leader of the all-time ranking published regularly by @pjansen, a hint to his rivals, he is very active on weekdays, but on weekends and holidays the Czech hedgehog rests. With the same number of points, but with a worse step ratio, he was followed by Bulgarian @pagane and Swede @flaxz. They, too, presented fairly stable form throughout the season. The first of the Poles, @browery (organizer of all this mess) was only seventh, for a long time he was at the top, but the disease made it difficult for him to fight for the top places. The Pakistani @masoom struggled with much bigger problems, due to political protests the internet was shut down in his country and regular publishing was hampered for a few days. We hope this will not happen again. Another Pole @cezary-io is a very solid participant, but he can talk about bad luck, because often someone turns out to be better on a given day. Well, that happens. Last season we were surprised by the poor result of the Kenyan @practicaleric, maybe not the results, but the position in the table, but you can not underestimate him because he was a season winner. The stakes from last season are completed by four more Poles @grecki-bazar-ewy, @merthin, @ptaku and @sk1920, each of them is imperceptible. More than once or twice they showed that they can mobilize for a duel with a strong rival, and the next day succumbs to a weaker one. Recently @ptaku, the winner of the "competitive" #MAcFiT cup organised by @merthin, has been on a roll. In the first division, we also have two newcomers, I'll start with a woman - Polish @sandraa1, she took second place in the 2nd league, throughout the tournament she presented a fairly even level, I think she'll do well in the top division. Similarly, the winner of the second league German @dirkzett, as he says about himself "an old man who made it", is very ambitious, so despite the constant complaining, he will be a tough rival for everyone.

Obrońcą tytułu jest Amerykanin @manuvert prezentujący przez cały sezon bardzo wyrównaną formę, jest jednym z czterech uczestników którzy osiągnęli średnią powyżej 30K kroków. Oprócz niego na podium znalazła się para Bułgarów @venan i debiutująca w pierwszej lidze @mariya36, oboje bardzo solidni, ale czasami zdarzały im się niewielkie wpadki. Tuż za podium znalazł się Czech @bucipuci, lider rankingu wszech czasów publikowanego cyklicznie przez @pjansen, podpowiedź dla rywali, jest on bardzo aktywny w dni robocze, ale w weekendy i dni wolne czeski jeż odpoczywa. Z tą samą liczbą punktów, ale z gorszym stosunkiem liczby kroków, uplasowali się za nim Bułgarka @pagane i Szwed @flaxz. Oni również prezentowali dość stabilną formę przez cały sezon. Pierwszy z Polaków @browery (organizator tego całego zamieszania) był dopiero siódmy, przez długi czas był w czołówce, ale choroba utrudniła mu walkę o najwyższe miejsca. Z dużo większymi problemami zmagał się Pakistańczyk @masoom, przez polityczne protesty wyłączono internet w jego kraju i utrudnione było regularne publikowanie przez kilka dni. Mniemy nadzieję, że więcej to się nie powtórzy. Kolejny z Polaków @cezary-io jest bardzo solidnym uczestnikiem, ale może mówić o pechu, bo często ktoś okazuje się być danego dnia lepszy. No cóż tak się zdarza. W ostatnim sezonie zaskoczył słaby wynik Kenijczyka @practicaleric, może nie osiągane wyniki, ale pozycja w tabeli, nie można go jednak lekceważyć bo ma on na swoim koncie zwycięstwo w całym turnieju. Stawkę z poprzedniego sezonu uzupełnia jeszcze czworo Polaków @grecki-bazar-ewy, @merthin, @ptaku i @sk1920, każdy z nich jest nieprzwidywalny. Nie raz czy dwa pokazali, że potrafią zmobilizować się na pojedynek z silnym rywalem, a następnego dnia ulec słabszemu. Ostatnio na fali jest @ptaku, zwycięsca "konkurecyjnego" pucharu #MAcFiT organizowany przez @merthin. W pierwszej lidze mamy też dwójkę debiutantów, zacznę od kobiety - Polka @sandraa1 zajęła drugie miejsce w drugiej lidze, przez cały turniej prezentowała dość równy poziom, myślę, że poradzi sobie w pierwszej lidze. Podobnie zwycięsca drugiej ligi Niemiec @dirkzett, jak sam mówi o sobie "starzec, który dał radę", jest bardzo ambitny, więc mimo ciągłego narzekania będzie trudnym rywalem dla każdego.
What are my predictions for season six? It is a very difficult task to indicate the top, as each of the participants presents a high level, and everything can be lost by independent factors such as illness or political turmoil. Bardzo trudnym zadaniem jest wskazanie czołówki, każdy z uczestników prezentuje wysoki poziom, a wszystko może być zaprzepaszczone przez niezależne czynniki jak choroba, czy zawirowania polityczne. Podobnie sprawa się ma ze wskazaniem "spadkowiczów". Myślę, że pierwszy tydzień da więcej światła na to jak będzie wyglądała rywalizacja w szóstym sezonie. A jakie są Wasze typy przed startem sezonu?

The fact is that I stopped using the Actifit app a long time ago and only started using it again because of your challenge.
If there were other counter options besides FitBit and a decent AFIT withdrawal option I would still be using it.

Until the day before yesterday I did not know if I could participate at all with at least a small chance. The places I visited were not suitable for walkers like me.
But since yesterday I am in the north of the Dominican Republic, in Sosua and it seems to be the perfect place for me, to work, to swim, to snorkel and also to walk.
I won't get to your points, of course, but at least now I can try.
