No. You are not required to be an Ecency user, but your art must promote ecency in some way.

You do not need to download anything! Simply go to the Ecency.com website and log in! It's easy.
You do not have to be using Ecency to enter the contest, but do go and take a look!
I'm on PC too and use Ecency , follow @melinda010100 's instructions and you will easily be using it 😉
