My comments today have been receiving 100% Upvotes from accounts we haven't heard from since the other blockchain, they've been silent over a year. Welcome back, comment upvoting accounts!
How are they doing it? That's it, that's all need to know right now. I'm on information overload these days and can't sustain more than one properly answered question at a time.

Upvote spamming has always been around. With crypto market coming backup, some old account owners might have started to come back and re-activate their voting bots. As long as it does not cause any issues to you, you should just ignore it.

How do I get my alt account to also come through and also upvote your comment? Hive.buzz addresses fan base, trails and comments, not upvoted comments. Are you aware of a way other than rewarding.app cuz it hasn't been up for weeks?

How are they doing automatic upvotes? They have their own bots. If you are a developer or have a developer working with you, you can create all sort of bots. I don't know if there is a public service that does it, maybe https://hive.vote not sure.. ?
Ok, they are likely developers themselves. Got it! Hive.vote doesn't do exactly what I'm wanting to do so I'll keep checking in at rewarding.app to see if it's running.

It did not interest me at first as I want to boost my SP mostly, but seems to be able to attract more views, so 🙂 But the part about a bot to upvote the comments you leave using an alt account...🤔...genius! I can probably code something or use an existing api, something that seems quite doable. Did you get any further on your side? Still need digging?

That's the sign in link for rewarding.app, for whatever reason the landing page doesn't work, but the above login does. It's super convenient, now when someone drops me a comment I don't have to sign in and out with two accounts.

I do not. I don't think they have anything to do with each other. I posted this one in the Ecency community Cuz I use the app all the time and rarely post there.

Hive.vote allows me to assign authors who comment to me an autovote. Every time you see someone around here with multiple account votes on a comment, just comments, they're using rewarding.app and it's been down for who knows how long but @holger80 @holger80 @holger80 @holger80 (who's a witness BTW!) won't respond to the platform's concerns.

I'll take'em, I'm a big fan of whatever it takes to encourage engagement I just don't know how they're doing it. If rewarding.app is down, there must be another dapp that allows us to make new rules for our accounts or I'm missing something.

I know what you mean about encouraging engagement.. but it is strange to continually get notifications for votes far below payout 😂 not that payout is the only goal, it's just.. I mean.. I've tried checking reward.app before because someone told me to; no wonder I thought the website was down. I was given the wrong URL. I'll check out rewardING.app instead. Don't really know what it is but sounds interesting.
When it's running it's a super useful tool.
I agree with the spammy shit dude. When someone new upvotes my comments speak on heard of everyone and tell them not to upvote anyone's comments and save their RC credits for original content. Those accounts (from yesterday it seems) aren't manually ran but someone somewhere knows something and I'm inching closer.

The first one was like, ok, someone just doesn't understand the platform yet.. then after 10 of them, I was just like alright fuck it don't even look at notifications until there's more than 5.. annoying as shit because like you said clearly was not manual, just auto-voted.

If I understand correctly, pushing that vote window out will likely discourage the big autovotes who don't consume. I'm sure there's more to it than that.

I just logged into it and yes there is an option in there to configure upvoting comments, but you have to use Hivesigner (not hive keychain) to log into the hive.vote website. This is basically the steemauto account that did the same thing on the steem blockchain. This is something you have to configure on your own because what you are doing is giving permission to the steemauto account to upvote accounts that you configure to auto upvote on the hive.vote website, good luck!

I've used rewarding.app for this before and it works well. There is a checkbox for following votes onto comments.

I went to the mailbox yesterday and the mail lady must have lubricated the box I found there before stuffing it in.
It took me a minute or two before I was able to get it out.
After I got the mail and the box, I just set it on the counter and went back to what I was doing, thinking it was some of the goods that I had ordered for the garden. About an hour or so later, Robin asked me what I had ordered, wanting to know what was in the box. At that time I read the shipping label and started to smile.
Once I realized it was from you guys, the excitement started to build.
When I broke out the goods, Robin's exact words were, " Pura and @dandays didn't have to do that, but I'm glad they did." With a bigger grin on her face than mine, her next words were, " I feel like cooking RIGHT NOW." My reply was, " what the hell are you waiting for, get busy. "

What's great about the spices is that they are different than anything on our shelves.
You hit it out of the park with the bottle of everything spice, that's Robins's favorite bagel. When she does woof one down, it does tend to keep me at arm's length for an hour or two. Even at my age I still get a little frisky and eating an everything bagel keeps me at bay.
