Hola amigxs ♥ Cómo están? Yo vengo palpitando ya mismo el #HiveMeetUpArgentina, aunque faltan más de dos semanas. Por suerte no soy la única, y la comunidad tuvo esta increíble idea de envalentonarnos a crear una mascota y un slogan para el gran encuentro ! Aquí vengo a mostrarles mi participación y el proceso de creación, espero que lo disfruten!
Hello friends ♥ How are you? I'm already looking forward to the #HiveMeetUpArgentina, even though it's still more than two weeks away. Luckily I'm not the only one, and the community had this incredible idea to encourage us to create a mascot and a slogan for the big meeting! Here I come to show you my participation and the creation process, I hope you enjoy it!

Aquí les dejo la única muestra de lo que hice a mano, incluso me avergüenzan bastante mis dibujos y bocetos, suelo dejar todas mis ideas allí para ver cuales predominan luego. Contarles que barajé TODO de argentina, los colores, las costumbres, el mate, la bandera, e incluso qué forma tendría la mascota.
Here is the only sample of what I did by hand, even I am quite ashamed of my drawings and sketches, I usually leave all my ideas there to see which ones prevail later. Pensé en una comunidad, en el concepto de crecimiento y con claridad di con el hecho de que evidentemente somos mejores juntos, pero además un poco más en el fondo, estamos creciendo juntos haciendo de esta una comunidad prometedora, la organización brillante que lleva el equipo adelante y la realidad de que, en nuestra alegría de descubrirnos juntos, encontramos también, que estamos llenando al mundo con nuestra primavera personal. Cada cual aporta a una colmena mayor. El concepto dio muchas vueltas, y por eso también me permito pensarlo varios días, en todo momento. Concluyo que lo mejor será lo más pegadizo que se me ocurrió "SPRING IT UP"
I thought of a community, the concept of growth and clearly I came to the fact that we are obviously better together, but also a little deeper down, we are growing together making this a promising community, the brilliant organization that carries the team forward and the reality that, in our joy of discovering ourselves together, we also find that we are filling the world with our personal springtime. I conclude that the best will be the catchiest thing I could come up with "SPRING IT UP"
También me dejé llevar porque la primavera esta cerca y por el hecho de que estaba decidido que no sería ningún otro tipo de animal u objeto animado, sería un super héroe lo más de "carne y hueso" que se puede ser. Solo simbolizando el luchador que llevamos cada hiver adentro, aunque no tengamos una Hiver-capa
I also got carried away because spring is near and the fact that I was determined that it wouldn't be any other kind of animal or animated object, it would be a super hero as "flesh and blood" as it gets. Just symbolizing the fighter that we all carry inside, even if we don't have a Hiver-cap

En algun punto estaba convencida que el pequeña abejita sería mi protagonista, e hice unos bocetos, el proceso fue muy divertido, quería destacarla simpática ante todo, y dejarme inspirar por la naturaleza trabajadora nata que tienen las abejas. Pero desistí para poder personificar mejor la idea, y hacer un guerrero super poderoso, pero con vestido. Asique nunca sabremos si es hombre, mujer, abeja o alien!
At some point I was convinced that the little bee would be my protagonist, and I made some sketches, the process was a lot of fun, I wanted to make her look nice above all, and let myself be inspired by the hard working nature that bees have. But I gave up in order to better personify the idea, and make a super powerful warrior, but with a dress. So we will never know if it is male, female, bee or alien!

Tampoco esto resultó fácil, estaba convencida que podría tejer el rombo y no hubo caso, no lo logré, y como no quería enfrentar el fracaso tan pronto, decidí que lo terminaría y ya luego vería si quedaba agradable, bonito, o conforme con el trabajo final.
I did some tests with wings, which didn't turn out as expected, and I went back to the creation of the cape.
This was not easy either, I was convinced that I could weave the rhombus and there was no case, I did not succeed, and as I did not want to face failure so soon, I decided that I would finish it and then I would see if it was nice, pretty, or if I was satisfied with the final work.
Ya les había dicho en otra historia de tejidos, que no soy buena con el bordado, aún así creo que se entiende, pero qué momento pasé decidiendo qué hacer con el logo de Hive !

Intenté pensar en algo lo más simbólico y que no tuviera gran significado, sino que fuese un "argentinismo" que si llamarlo Mister, Muchacha, que si Mambo, Bondi, Quilombo... y salió solo el uso del Cambalache, que si bien es un Tango, y su significado no tiene tanto que ver con el que adopta aquí, me resultó gracioso y particularmente descriptivo para el "un poco de todo" y personificar así la mascota de Hive Argentina.
I tried to think of something as symbolic as possible and that did not have a great meaning, but that was an "Argentinism", whether to call it Mister, Muchacha, Mambo, Bondi, Quilombo... and I only came up with the use of Cambalache, which although it is a Tango, and its meaning does not have much to do with the one adopted here, it was funny and particularly descriptive for the "a little bit of everything" and thus personify the mascot of Hive Argentina.

Pude concretar mis ganas de poner algo en su cabeza con el siguiente disparador, no había colocado nada de los colores o clásicos distintivos argentinos, y tejer un mate tan pequeño no está en mis posibilidades como tejedora aún. Pensé en colocarle una boina, o un funyi, pero tampoco sabía si quedaría tan claro, y pensé en este gorro que utilicé (y aún uso) en cada mundial, un gorro de arlequín Argentino ! Y como es año del mundial, pues hice uno pequeñito y decorativo, y al lado coloqué una flor grandota, con la idea de que la primavera también forma parte de cada uno.

Totalmente divertido y entretenido de llevar a cabo, además pude reunir todas las pasiones y emociones, mi país, la creación, tejer, y compartirlo con uds!
