There might come a time where there are so many Hive users who either reply to you or mention you, such that you would need to skip replying to some comments, even when you use helpful tools such as #HiveEngage. π€π€―π
Given how many comments, replies, and mentions that I receive every day now, I shudder to think of such a time! I use Engage and Hive Inbox now, no need for me to wait! π π π β¨ π€
I recommend to Hive users who say that they struggle with time responding to each reply under their own posts and comments to simply leave a (tiny) upvote to show that they have already read (and liked) the comment. π€π€
However, if the upvotes are tiny enough such that the total is less than $0.02, they won't get paid out unless the dust votes get boosted by #dustsweeper and/or #dustbunny. π€
The change on a recent Hive Hard Fork is that even tiny votes would be worth something on a vote (or in other words, no individual vote that isn't zero gets dusted), but any content whose total curation is worth less than $0.02 will have the author and curator rewards dusted (or in other words, collective dust votes at payout time still gets dusted). π€―π€
Yep, true, which is why I delegate to both @dustsweeper and @dustbunny. Also, while the layer-1 tokens may not pay out, the layer-2 tokens do, regardless.
Yep, I remember the conversations around that. I still upvote all comments and replies, even if most are dusted. My dusty bot friends boost some for me, as do other people sometimes. π π π β¨ π€
@tydynrain just sent you a DIY token as a little appreciation for your comment dear @savvytester!
Feel free to multiply it by sending someone else !DIY in a comment :) You can do that x times a day depending on your balance so:
