Our Potato Harvest From Earlier In The Summer.

Do.png

We tried our hands at growing potatoes again this summer. Last year, we planted some and kind of neglected them, but they still produced a few decent sized spuds. So, I was excited to try again this year.

We selected a purple variety this time around, and we planted them in the Minecraft garden bed in early spring; almost too early spring. We had a little bit of a scare when there was a late frost and most of our newly sprouted potato plants died back; however, they made a good comeback.

We harvested them a couple of months ago, but I am just now getting around to posting the video. But, we did pretty darn good! I was super happy with our harvest, and I can't wait to try again next year!!

Nice harvest. I volunteer on an organic garden and taking out potatoes is one of the least loved jobs there are ;)
We have 15 varieties including the purple "violetta"
