Los padres, familiares, amigos, docentes y especialistas en el autismo, todos están invitados y ha sido muy interesante cada una de las participaciones que han respondido las preguntas propuestas con mucha sinceridad, desde diferentes vivencias, con un estilo muy personal y reflexivo que es lo que queremos.

We are happy for the receptivity so far, towards the #iniciativazul called Let's talk about Autism || What is it about? which invites to present knowledge about the autism spectrum based on ideas and personal experiences. Parents, family members, friends, teachers and autism specialists are all invited and it has been very interesting each one of the participations that have answered the proposed questions with a lot of sincerity, from different experiences, with a very personal and reflective style, which is what we want.

Tengo un hijo de 7 años con la condición diagnosticada de Autismo de Alto Rendimiento. Antes de dar la anécdota que les traigo, y sin que me llamen ignorante, debo decir que aunque el autismo no sea una enfermedad, entra en el target de bullying como ser un enfermo mental.
I have a 7 year old son with the diagnosed condition of High Functioning Autism. Before giving the anecdote I bring you, and without being called ignorant, I must say that although autism is not a disease, it enters into the target of bullying as being mentally ill.

In the consultation, one of the tools I use is to change beliefs that prevent the development of knowledge about a problem. The same thing happens with autism; therefore, let's break down some simple and necessary myths about autism that need to be transformed.

Today I join this blue initiative, where we are learning and understanding the autism spectrum, and especially how we can support individuals who have this condition.
| AUTISM, FROM A TRUE INCLUSION: LET'S SEE THE WORLD FROM ANOTHER PERSPECTIVE |
El autismo, parece increíble que después de tanto avance a nivel medicinal y tecnológico aún no podamos decir a ciencia cierta que, condición la define en específico. Sabemos lo que hemos leído en caso de personas ajenas a esta condición, sabemos lo que tenemos como experiencia, en mi caso que soy profesora de educación especial, sabemos lo que vivimos el día a día, que es el caso de los padres de niños con autismo, pero… ¿Sabemos lo suficiente?
Autism, it seems incredible that after so much medical and technological progress, we still cannot say for sure what condition defines it specifically. We know what we have read in the case of people who do not have this condition, we know what we have as experience, in my case I am a special education teacher, we know what we live day by day, which is the case of parents of children with autism, but... Do we know enough?
