Yup, it seems Artificial Intelligence may be making an appearance in our Ecosystem which is the Blockchain Ecosystem. It seems Russia is going to be dabbling into the AI route so that they can track Crypto Transactions on the Bitcoin, Ethereum, Omni Dash, and Monero Blockchains.
Hmm, the above statement sounds a little unusual right, oh yeah I just realized that Bitcoin and Ethereum Transactions are mostly public so why do they need to track those transactions using AI. I feel like there has been either of the two issues-
Possibility No 1
There has been some sort of miscommunication from Russia to all the other Journalists and they tweeted about things the wrong way which was by including Bitcoin and Ethereum onto the list as they are not Privacy Coins.
Possibility No 2
The people above may not know that Bitcoin and Ethereum are not Privacy centric Coins and the transactions are openly visible. This is highly unlikely but still, there is always a 1% chance.
Possibility No 3
This is most likely what would explain the above statement. Russia might be trying to track all Crypto Transactions using AI. For example, I sent 1 BTC to someone in Japan at a certain address and they can trace my Name as well as the receiver's name with their new project.
Now I believe the only way that's going to be possible is to get the user information from the Exchanges as they do have the User KYC's but if they do opt-in to get that data from the Exchanges wouldn't it be just better to get the exchanges to track any suspicious crypto transactions.
I also get the fact that tracing Crypto Transactions is kind of intrusive to us as users but I feel like in some cases it is also necessary. We can call this a Necessary Evil as it is bad but we also kind off need it from time to time.
So what are your thoughts on this new development of AI Technology from Russia?
