Seasons greetings Hodlers all over the world, 2020 kicked off in an interesting way with most of us getting multiple airdrops from one project or the other, even at the end of the year theres no stopping. Heard about the 1inch airdrop? I didn't.
Binance recently did a airdrop through Trust wallet to users who completed a spot trade within a stipulated time frame, eligible users received about 100TWT tokens each. I use binance a lot so somehow I qualified for the airdrop, I even got to know about the airdrop late, it wasn't until someone blogged about it here before I checked my wallet and found it laying there.
Anyway, I had a little headache when I was trying to convert mine, so to whoever is out there needing some help, follow these few bullet points:
- I suppose you've withdrawn the TWT to your Trust wallet
- Buy some Bnb, about $1
- Withdraw it to your Trust wallet Binance smart chain address. Make sure you select BEp SC from your Binance wallet upon withdrawal.
The Bnb is for gas...ishh.
- From your Trust wallet, click on the Twt token
- Click on the option button and click trade
Right there you will convert your TWT token to BNB smart chain token. My mistake was misplacing the Bnb smart chain wallet address for the normal Bnb wallet address, so I had to make deposit again.
You can also choose to buy more TWT tokens with BNB so you can stake them to farm cake tokens as well.
Remember....to withdraw your converted tokens to Binance wallet,be sure to use the smart chain address else tokens will be lost.
Lastly, tokens unclaimed before 5th of January will be lost,

Is the Trust folks the ones who do the stable coins? I have some tGBP which I heard they issued, slotted that in to my Celsius wallet for 13.6% interest yippee kay yayyyyyy!

Haha, I think it's just a GBP stable coin they issue - ERC20 token effectively so in other words, move it around at your peril with those gas fees! Yikes!
