As for the tariffs, it’s the same cycle playing out again pressure, reaction then more pressure. The EU and US relationship always seems like this balancing act where neither side wants to fully push back but also doesn’t want to look weak. Whether anything actually changes long term is another question entirely.
NATO should have dissolved when the Soviet Union collapsed. It can end today. Perhaps Europe can coordinate defense under the EU umbrella.
