Lately, I have been thinking about how much I dislike AI images as cover photos for articles ... I would much rather see a grainy, crappy image that someone has taken during their day, that doesn't quite match the topic written about ...
Me too, actually this was/is part of the charm of Hive - the personal-ness of it in all its real human messiness. All those AI images look the same, they flatten the post and turn it into a junk of code, devoid of all personality.
My bugbear with AI is it cannot get my writing voice, I mean, come on, how hard is it? It can fake pictures, audio, video, but it persists in producing flat internet-y influencer style writing, regardless of how long I have been chatting to it. It must surely get my speech rhythms and language by now ;D
