Prominent throughout and contesting for the lead until 2 hurdles from home. Still in with a chance at the last, and ran on well to maintain second place, but never with quite enough left in the tank to overcome the winner, finishing half a length back over the line.

Cheeky Extra Bet
Well, our cheeky extra bet faired better yesterday with a second placed finish, this result is not included in the stats above since ther bet wasn't placed with the same bookies I use for the follow the tipster strategy. No extra bet today, although I do have a Notebook horse running again - My Boy Jack in the 4:20 at Wolverhampton looking to turn a string of places into a win at last. Time, of course, will tell if i regret not having a few pennies on this one.
