In the past days, we've received a couple of reports about auto rentals being a bit slow on matching cards for users. To make sure that PeakMonsters users have a great experience when using the platform, we have recently pushed an update to improve the performance of auto rental system when matching cards to rent.
HIGHER PRIORITY FOR PRICE ABOVE 0.25 DEC
We did some checks and tuned the system to give a higher priority to auto rentals for cards with a price above 0.25 DEC. If you want to rent very cheap cards, you can likely do it easily yourself manually on the market as there is a large volume of those cards available at any given time. What this means is that the processing of cards for bids priced at 0.25 DEC or higher will now be faster as the significant volume of cards being listed at 0.1 DEC will be checked at a slower pace.
Not processing the 0.1 DEC listings real-time will mean that our node don't have to process the huge number of small cards which represent sometimes ~80% of the new rental listing. This means that it will not fall behind on blocks when someone list 1,000 cards at 0.1 DEC for example.
We expect this change to increase the speed of auto rentals system, and improve the overall experience of PeakMonsters users when using this feature.
Let us know if you notice a difference in speed and quality of the site in particular with AUTO RENTALS.

fantastic move peakmonsters i like the idea of prioritizing the cost slightly above minimum. maybe there would be some pressure to level up some cards that are listed at level 1, or maybe even levelling up to level 3 with some commons that are widely available among other cards.
