Graffiti in Berlin
I recently noticed that a lot of my old video footage files are being corrupted.
In 2019, I went to Berlin and stopped by the Hip Hop headquarters at Marienburgerstrasse, close to Schönhauser. What a coincidence to notice that Komet from the New Delhi Styles Crew was hanging out there and had artists residency for a few months. Komet is also a part of the Wizard of the Styles or WOTS crew from New York. He was interning at a whole seller in Berlin for Marker and Sketch Pen Supplies called On The Run. He came to work and paint in Berlin all the way from Delhi. We painted our last piece together in 2012 in South Delhi close to the Begampur along with Haks from New York and Zebster from Berlin. This was a few months after the Indian Graffiti Revolution and after the Indo-German Hip Hop and Urban Art Project, which I co-managed, assisted and hosted in New Delhi and partly in Mumbai back in 2011.
Me and Komet are actually from the same warrior tribe/clan, when it comes to our ancestors in India. It was an epic memory to hang out with my boy Komet.
The Music in the video is something I sampled and made in Berlin using a Roland SP-404sx. It's the previous model of what SinPaw aka @termitemusic uses. I called it Dreamscape.

Thank you very much @trucklife-family. I also intended to use the #cleanplanet initiative as tag. Komet's sister dizy was there a few months earlier and she does a lot for women's empowerment, which is quite common in the hip hop scene world wide.
