Part of Amazing Wednesday

DSC_9862 lily lake reflection small.jpg

Wednesday was a pretty dang nice day for me from waking up til just before bed. One of the stops along the way was this Lily Lake. It has a real name but to my wife and I it is Lily Lake. There are a lot of lily pads here, and we want to be able to catch the blooming. So we stop by every now and then.

Today, even though the lilies have yet to bloom they are beginning to fill in nicely. There was not much of a breeze out and the lake was mostly placid and catching a nice sky reflection.

We are both hoping that when the lilies do bloom we catch them and that the lake is calm so we can get some really nice shots.

Amazing clear crisp shot of Lily Lake with all the lily pads and reflections of the clouds in water.

It was a very nice day, we are looking forward to the day there is a small sea of yellow open lilies. We only caught the tail end last year, and hope to catch the major bloom this year.

That would be a pretty sight. I hope you get to see the open lilies.
