It is located in Candilito, La Candelaria parish

La Candelaria is an eminently commercial middle class area with old houses combined with modern buildings that was declared a parish in 1703

It is a parish located in the north-west of the city of Caracas, close to the historic center of Caracas.

It has an important square for having been one of the first in the city (today, in reality, there are two squares in one, Plaza Urdaneta to the north and Plaza Candelaria to the south).

Many Canarian, Galician, Basque and Portuguese immigrants settled in La Candelaria throughout the 19th and 20th centuries. A good part of its inhabitants are originally from the Canary Islands, in fact the name comes from the Virgen de la Candelaria, patron saint of said Spanish archipelago.
