Lion Roars!

Hi fellow Hiveians,

Today I’m sharing an epic lion roar from the zoo when we went a few weeks ago!

Lion’s Roar

The zoo was a pretty awesome trip, we got to see a lot of amazing animals but one of the highlights was this here. We usually see the lions just hanging out by themselves but this time the male was all amped up.

When we got over there it was actually perfect timing. The male lion had somehow gotten ahold of a box, I don’t know if someone was an idiot and threw it into the enclosure or if the zoo keepers were trying to get them some enrichment but the lion had a box. It was messing around with it and ended up throwing it and breaking it apart. I don’t know what was in it but when he was finished that’s when he started to howl like this! It was crazy but we caught it just in time, I think I was recording him just moving around when he started so I got really lucky!

I know when my parents male cat was older and he smelled something he didn’t like that was threatening his territory he howled like this. Whatever the lion smelled he didn’t like and wanted to let others around know to stay away!

Oh hell yeah. It's been some years but I saw those lions in action. Those 400 pound cats move just as effortlessly as house cats. Incredible creatures. Their little hop is about a 50' jump like nothin. The most intense roar was the tiger.. Like woah.

I couldn't stand your clip at all in case you can't tell.

Did the clip work? I’m using brave on my phone and it doesn’t like to load the videos lol. Some error but it works on safari.

The lions are awesome but poor things are just bored walking around their small space instead of the large land they used to prowl. There were tigers too but they were just laying down hanging out.

I'm on brave with my phone and it worked fine.

Ah okay good I don't know what's up with mine then. I edited the post and made it an actual post, trying to write a post on the Threespeak site isn’t that easy so I just edit it. There’s a little back story to what was going on right before this that might add to the cool factor!

I'm clinically nuts with my notepad. I work the hell out of the thing before I transfer any content to Ecency or 3speak or..

Editing in 3speak would be challenging.

Here's what I do when I upload via 3speak:

I draft the post on peakd, with formatting, extra photos and all that jazz. I copy-paste this to the 3speak video description and that's it. The only thing you'll have to edit later is the video frame itself as it would be on the top of the post. Sonif you would like it somewhere else in the post, you have to edit otherwise no need.

Whoah! That's a really load roar. How did your Littl Man react?
