Mountain Lake in Summer with Ice from Glacier

In summer I like to do some hiking and enjoy the beauty of Austria from above. Eventhough it might sometimes be a little exhausting, most of the time it pays off and I can create some nice pictures. And also for the self esteem it is something good when you are able to climb mountains and finally are on the spot that you wanted to visit or at the mountain peak. Then in summer it is also often a good cooling off from the warm to hot weather in the valley. On the mountains it is often still a lot colder than in the valleys or even so cold that there is still snow and Ice.

The water of most mountain lakes is very beautiful an clear and I would go swimming in it if it wasn't so cold. But mountain lakes are always a nice subject for my photography, since I think the lakes look very nice in combination with the mountains.

Nice shots of the beautiful scene. Was it you who stacked the stones? 😊

No i didn't, there are a lot of people up there and some use the blue lake for Instagram shots so I assume one of the Instagramers did it.

I see. 👍😊

Beautiful photos 👋
