Now in Autumn there are days when there are only a few birds around and it is usually a little bit more difficult to find them for some photography, this is why I often decide to do some Scouting for new Places I want to visit in Spring when the better part of the bird migration will happen. During these trips I search for possible spots that I can visit next spring and I mark them on my Google Maps so I can find them next year in Spring again. I hope some of these places are good for some bird photography but at least they look promising from what I can tell now. A lot of sand, little vegetation and shalloow water, perfect for waders that search for small insects in the shallow water.
Promising spot for birdphotography. Picture: Florian Glechner.

But since I was there and I rarely could see any birds I was a bit dissapointed. Because now in Autumn there should still be some migratory birds that could rest here, but It seems like there was none of them here. Maybe I was too early, too late. I am not really sure, maybe this spot is even not so good.. We'll see next spring.

natural beauty is always amazing. seeing it in your post we can conclude that the beauty of nature has always been the attraction of everyone.
Nice nice and quiet place. I'm sure there are a lot of sandpipers and ducks here in the spring.
Yes sandy and muddy spots in shallow water is promising. I hope I find some nice birds there next spring.
