Botany is a broad term covering scientific study of plants. It could be from a small living organism to a tree. Included would be flora, fungi, lichens, trees and flowering plants.
We are also interested in plants for their psychological (good for the mind & soul) benefits.
Through botany, medicinal properties are discovered from nature. Food, medicines, parks, forests, pollution and much more have been improved with botanical knowledge. Botanists search for alternatives from the harmful chemicals used on crops and the deforestation that has damaged the health of our planet.
I would like to bring your attention to the curated posts and ask you to show some love to the amazing authors:
- @sketch.and.jam was in the desert area of Arizona in winter and found mistletoe growing off a mesquite tree. Although known as a parasite to trees, the mistletoe benefits different species of trees as it attracts insects and birds to it.
- @leylar finds looking at her favorite beautiful white flowers helps in this stressful 2022. The flower bloomed in February and it made her happy and helped relief the stress of the events going on.
- @kawsar8035 was searching for a cricket ball when he noticed this lovely white wildflower. He knows flowers play a pivotal role in enhancing the beauty of the world which always fascinates us.
- @florecitamejias has a deep respect for trees and knows how important they are to our existence. A tree is life whether it is big or small. Trees provide two fundamental benefits, oxygen that gives life and fruit that allows us to stay alive.

Photographs and text must be your own or properly sourced with a nice description for each individual photo. Please state why those photos represent your Amazing Nature.
