Hello dear friends who love the amazing nature and the whole hive. With this publication I make my entry to the thematic contest that this community does every week. Today with the theme: City Parks.
The park is called the Maracaibo Botanical Garden and it is the only one of its kind that exists in the city.
In this park there is a lot of vegetation, especially large trees that provide a lot of shade. But there is one with history as it was brought from Africa, it is a Baobab.
There is a belief that if you hug this tree you will get good luck, what I know is that this tree has a good vibe and hugging it was something fun that I had never done.
There is a small lake, the Laguna de los Lotos, this sign informs you about these plants and that you are in a place where you can have a picnic, or make a stop to rest since the place is somewhat extensive.
This was where I first saw a lotus flower, I had seen a lot on television and in magazines, but had not seen one personally. There are also several colors.
There is a part that is fenced where you can play with slides and ropes, made of concrete, and you can walk along the entire edge of the wall.
It is another option within the park, the floor is all sand, so you must be careful with the shoes you use.
Iguanas abound in Maracaibo and I came across this small species walking through the park. Wild animals and many birds are seen passing through the trees and the leafy ground.

The park is a good idea to spend a Sunday of entertainment and relaxation, but it could be better cared for and have much more vegetation, especially decorative plants, with many flowers. The government should have more interest in the care of these types of parks that is for the benefit of the citizens and an attraction for the visitor.

Thank you for entering the competition.
It looks like a nice place to relax and get acquainted with nature :-)
That´s correct friend @bucipuci. It is a very quiet place to spend a day of relaxation.
