Arthropods we usually don't like...

in Amazing Nature4 years ago

...even so, they are indispensable parts of the ecosystem. Why do so many hate them? Because these little creatures dressed in chitin armor are so different. Young children see arthropods like insects, spiders, crabs and larvae without prejudice, while adults, especially parents often tell them not to touch, because it bites or stinks.
Luckily, I grew up with no prejudices, although I had some unpleasant experiences, like eating raspberries in the woods spiced with bugs and ants. Mosquitoes have been bitten me many times, not to mention wasps and bees.
If a mosquito lands on me, I will beat it to death without any remorse. But I don't hate it yet (so much).

Without claiming completeness, let’s see what amazing insects live around us!
All of the following photos are my original works.

Locusts, grasshoppers, crickets always fascinate me - It’s amazing how much they can jump.
