My local deer came visiting again. I was able to shoot a few good shots from our bedroom window. This is one of my favorites, a Deer next to our Buddha statue.
If you open in large window and zoom in, you can see that this is actually a Buck deer. The little spot on it's head is where it has recently shed it's antlers. This is earlier than most, as I still see many deer coming through with their antlers intact. I guess I'll start making some trips into the woods to search for them. I just love finding the antler sheds in the woods.
There were several other deer in the group, about 8 or so. Only a few decent photo opportunities this time though.
This youngster was quite curious, exploring all around.
And I included this one of the older deer even though a little out of focus. Still learning the camera and how to switch focus modes. This guy didn't want to hold still very long.
