The photos that I share in this occasion are of the rocky shore of Antofagasta, this is one of the main features of the sea side of this city of the north of Chile. The tide was not high nor low, it was normal and the waves were low.
Due to the rocks, there is (almost) no space for beaches that people can use for bathing at sea. Notice that the sky was clear and having a beautiful blue color that contrasts with the deep blue of the ocean.
Las fotos que publico en esta ocasión muestra la costa rocosa de Antofagasta, esta es una de las principales características de este borde marítimo. La marea no estaba ni alta ni baja, y el oleaje con mediana intensidad.
Como pueden observar casi no hay espacio para playas aptas para el uso general del público. Noten que el cielo está despejado y con un color celeste bastante bonito, que contrasta con el azul profundo del océano.
Las fotos fueron tomadas hace pocos días , durante una caminata a lo largo de la costa.
Muestro aquí las fotografías en tres versiones cromáticas: la primera en su color original, luego en blanco y negro y en la tercera se usó desaturación selectiva, es decir todos los colores, salvo el azul fueron desaturados, dando así más énfasis al mar y el cielo. Me gustaría saber su opinión sobre las imágenes.
The photos were taken with the camera of a Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra and edited in Gimp. The black and white versions were obtained using the tool known as “channel/mono mixer”.
