Welcome to the 55th round of my special weekly photo challenge known as Appreciate Beauty of Nature with @phortun :)
I know a lot of photo contests with nature as the main theme were/are/will be hosted by various people on the Hive blockchain but I wanted to come up with something more than just another photo contest where participants would submit their best natural photos. Therefore, I decided to go for quite an unusual concept that I am going to introduce in the following lines.
The aim of the Appreciate Beauty of Nature with @phortun photo challenge is not to make you dig up your photo archives and submit the best pictures of nature that you have ever taken. Instead, I want you guys to go out and appreciate the beauty of our nature right now.
The internet (and the Hive blockchain as well) is flooded with picture perfect shots of landscapes, mountains, forests, beaches etc. taken years ago. But this is not what I want to see in this challenge. I want to see shots that may not be necessarily stunning but they must be fresh, proving that you have just physically spent some time outdoors in the fresh air. But remember that nature comes in many forms. It doesn´t have to be a pristine jungle or a deep remote forest. An urban park, a botanical garden, a little grove on the outskirts of your town - pretty much any place with some trees, plants, rocks, bodies of water or any other natural features would be just as fine ;)
Obviously, there is no way for me to verify whether the photo that you submit in the challenge is really fresh or if it was even taken by you so I am relying on your honesty guys. The prizes for the winners (as described below) are more symbolical than overly motivating so I don´t expect too much fraudulent behavior in this challenge anyway.
I want to keep the rules of this challenge as simple and benevolent as possible so let´s agree on just this:
Only one entry (photo) per person per round.
The photo must be yours and not older than one week.
Add a few words about the photo, at least where and when you took it.
You can start submitting your entries to this round in the comment section below from now until the next round.
Prior to publishing the next round post, I will pick 3 winners, give my full upvote on their entries and feature them in the next round of the challenge. As long as the response is not too overwhelming, I will also try to give some smaller upvotes on all of the other entries to reward all participants.
I might change the concept and/or the rules of the photo challenge later on, depending on how things go. I usually host the challenge on Thursday but when needed for some reason, I can host it on some other day so better check my blog regularly not to miss out on it ;)
To keep up with you guys, I submit my own fresh natural photo to every round´s post too :) Here is my contribution to start out this round:
Although we have already had a few really warm and sunny days lately, spring hasn´t taken full control over here in Central Europe yet. The trees are still barren with no signs of sprouting and the sky is often overcast just like it was today. With that being said, I didn´t have many options when looking for a fresh natural photo to my challenge. Eventually, I decided to go for this somewhat artsy shot from an unusual angle. Photo taken in the Jordan Park here in Krakow, Poland just a few hours ago.
In the last round, we had 8 participants. After some thorough consideration, I decided to pick these 3 winners:

Broke the curfew on Tuesday for the 1st time in a month or so. The weather was so nice that I couldn't resist. Didn't find anything special to take pictures of, though. But at least a clear sunset. Taken somewhere between Patras & Monodendri at the Greek west coast. It was so clear, actually, that the orange didn't extend much. Had to zoom in to the full 200mm to get this.

Last but not least here is my entry this round :) Just taken today and I had a wonderful Sunday out here since the weather so perfect to go to beach :) I did submit another pic of Nam O reef before but this time same place but different hihiii more views of ocean and moutain :)

A já se přidávám s místem, o kterém jsem netušila, že existuje. Překvapivě se nachází v Ostravě a je to přírodní rezervace. Čekám, až se trošku zazelenají stromy a vyrazím tam znovu, je fakt pohádkové. Foto je ze včera.

Congratulations to the featured photos, and @phortun for the great ideas for Hive. It is good to come to this initiative, @parauri had already told me about it. Today I want to join with a photo of a warm Llanero sunrise, from the plains of Venezuela, in the Guárico State while I was in the small hamlet of La Negra for the weekend.
The sky divided between a possible rain, although the current time is of drought without rain and a lot of heat. Blessings.

Was out in my backyard on the weekend just barbecuing a few chops and sausages for our dinner on Saturday evening when , i noticed the night seemed a bit brighter then normal , i looked up and it was the full moon shinning down so as the chops were sizzling away , i had a go and trying to get a descent photo of the moonlight and this was my best photo after about 20 attempts at setting my smartphone at different setting , i thought not to bad for a smartphone with today's technology they do a pretty descent job for night time photos.

Hello friend @phortun, today I reappear to bring you a little of the tropical sky when it is not blue. So was yesterday afternoon, threatening rainy weather. This gray sky suddenly replaced the brilliant blue that was previously in various areas of Aragua, Venezuela. The plants welcome you after so many months of drought.

I really appreciate the work and time you invest in this one. I liked the energy behind "Instead, I want you guys to go out and appreciate the beauty of our nature right now." Im kinda similar person and I don't like robotic things in a way people are getting more and more in that way. Sometimes, all we need is really to appreciate the nature around us, we're getting stuck into our jobs, our problems, thoughts which leads to stress and bad feeling. Nature and mankind is one beautiful synergy we must not forget.
