Appreciate Beauty of Nature with @phortun: round 59

in Amazing Nature3 years ago

Hi there my Hivean friends and followers!

Welcome to the 59th round of my special weekly photo challenge known as Appreciate Beauty of Nature with @phortun :)

I know a lot of photo contests with nature as the main theme were/are/will be hosted by various people on the Hive blockchain but I wanted to come up with something more than just another photo contest where participants would submit their best natural photos. Therefore, I decided to go for quite an unusual concept that I am going to introduce in the following lines.

The aim of the Appreciate Beauty of Nature with @phortun photo challenge is not to make you dig up your photo archives and submit the best pictures of nature that you have ever taken. Instead, I want you guys to go out and appreciate the beauty of our nature right now.

The internet (and the Hive blockchain as well) is flooded with picture perfect shots of landscapes, mountains, forests, beaches etc. taken years ago. But this is not what I want to see in this challenge. I want to see shots that may not be necessarily stunning but they must be fresh, proving that you have just physically spent some time outdoors in the fresh air. But remember that nature comes in many forms. It doesn´t have to be a pristine jungle or a deep remote forest. An urban park, a botanical garden, a little grove on the outskirts of your town - pretty much any place with some trees, plants, rocks, bodies of water or any other natural features would be just as fine ;)

Obviously, there is no way for me to verify whether the photo that you submit in the challenge is really fresh or if it was even taken by you so I am relying on your honesty guys. The prizes for the winners (as described below) are more symbolical than overly motivating so I don´t expect too much fraudulent behavior in this challenge anyway.

I want to keep the rules of this challenge as simple and benevolent as possible so let´s agree on just this:

Only one entry (photo) per person per round.

The photo must be yours and not older than one week.

Add a few words about the photo, at least where and when you took it.

You can start submitting your entries to this round in the comment section below from now until the next round.

Prior to publishing the next round post, I will pick 3 winners, give my full upvote on their entries and feature them in the next round of the challenge. As long as the response is not too overwhelming, I will also try to give some smaller upvotes on all of the other entries to reward all participants.

I might change the concept and/or the rules of the photo challenge later on, depending on how things go. I usually host the challenge on Thursday but when needed for some reason, I can host it on some other day so better check my blog regularly not to miss out on it ;)

To keep up with you guys, I submit my own fresh natural photo to every round´s post too :) Here is my contribution to start out this round:

Today must have been the warmest day of this year so far here in Krakow, Poland so I took advantage of the lovely, almost summer-like weather and spent a few hours basking in the sun outside. Obviously, many people had the same idea but I still managed to find a place where there was nobody - just me and nature :) I enjoyed these peaceful moments in a forest near the Bednarski Park in the Stare Podgorze neighborhood of the city. I took the photo just a couple of hours ago.

In the last round, we had only 3 participants so picking the winners was easy:

After a few days of torrential rains in the town of Byron Bay and all up the north and south coast of Australia causing lots of floods and damage the sun finally decided to show itself again bringing a ray of sunshine on the people again. This was my this morning jog along Byron Bay beach enjoying the fresh air, sunshine and blue skies as if nothing had happened all peaceful again.

Hi @phortun, hope you enjoy spring arrival, too. Yesterday I made a trip with children to lookout tower Babí Lom (520 m above see level) situated 10 km northly from Brno. Temperature was rather low but the view was great.

I lost in a spectacular Son Tra Peninsula here in Da Nang that I have mentioned a few times on my blog. Just a wonderful Sunday and relaxing time laying on the Rock watching the sunset & hearing the waves of the blue ocean on my right and smell of the forest on my left, seeing the city in front. All my pressure after a hardworking week went away, I don't know I felt lost in the nature!!! My Entry this round @phortun, taken yesterday :))

Congratulations guys! It was my pleasure to give you 100% upvotes on your entries :)

I am looking forward to what you will come up with in this round.

Have fun and appreciate the beauty of nature!

To je Vikštejn u Vítkova ;)

Krásné mraky a ty polozasněžené kopečky vzádu 😲 👌

Last Sunday's photo of Praděd mountain (Czechia), the highest (1491 m.a.s.l.) peak of Jeseníky, with iconic tower. The foreground is surrounded by mountain pine. Maybe it is one of the last photos with this tree there as they work hard to eliminate this introduced species in order to let the indigenous flora to prosper.

Now you are talking after all those edits :D :P Great shot.

Yeah, sometimes simply need more time to do it properly 😁

Playing around in my garden today trying to get some macro shots for a qurator contest after taking quite a few shots and getting use to using my new Samsung S21 Pro smartphone which has a automatic macro setting with it's advanced technology this smartphone has the ability to switch itself over to macro mode, this happens when you get within 10 centimeters of an object, the camera acknowledges and automatically switches over to its close-up mode how cool is that and this is the result of one of the macro photo i captured today the mid-air flying Bee heading into the Yellow Bell flower.

Wow! Very cool close up! Cell phone cameras can do really impressive things these days. Thanks for your entry my friend. The location is Byron Bay, right? ;)

Thanks @phortun yeah i am always amazed with your cell phone photos. This was my in my Byron Bay home garden.

Hey @phortun, here is my entry. It was taken at the beach last weekend in Son Tra Peninsula, Da Nang. My friend & I spent a night at the beach camping and chilling.

Looks like a natural puzzle :) Beautiful, thank you.

Hi @phortun, I come back again with your great contest. And this is my entry for this round. This is the photo I took of a calf as I wandered through a field last weekend. Talking a little bit behind the scene, her mother was very angry when I took this photo of her baby. I had to run away after taking it. 😁. Sorry, @phortun, as usual, I forgot to add the location. I took this photo in a suburb area of Hanoi when I had a business trip there.

Hey man, thanks for your entry, it´s amazing as usually. Also, as usually, I need to ask you to the add the location please :D

Hey buddy, thanks for your entry but this round is already closed and the winners picked :) You are more than welcome to join the new round though that I am going to publish later today. Btw, you don´t have to create a whole post to participate, just leaving a comment is fine but remember to mention where and when you took the picture. But I actually upvoted that post anyway as you are on my autovoter, I like your content ;)

Thanks friend @phortun
I photograph a lot of nature, but sometimes I don't have enough time to participate in competitions. But I will try to get into a new round :) Do you need to submit only one photo and a comment about it?

Thank you for support. I have a question and prosba.Kakogo robot you use to avtogolosovaniya .. If it is not a secret :) I just do not have time to spend their strength, and to vote at random I do not want.

Hey buddy, sure I will tell you, it´s no secret :) I use https://hive.vote/ for my autovotes. Once you log in, you click on "Fanbase" where you can write the names of the authors that you want to support with your autovotes and then specify your settings by clicking on the action icon on the right. You can adjust the % of your votes, the timing of your votes etc. Let me know if you need any more help ;)

Thank you so much. I found and configured everything and included you in my voting list :)

Thank you very much, it was a pleasure to help :)

You are welcome

I took this photo in the dawn, 4.40 AM western indonesia time. Captured by Samsung A31 through manual setting and theblighting supported by a LED Lamp. The flower is Sulphur Yellow, glooming since 5 days ago. I like the color. Even in the dawn, it is still shine. No editing.

Thank you for this challenge. I really enjoy it.

Welcome to the challenge :) Interesting entry, this is the first time someone submitted a night shot here. Thanks for your participation.

How dare you try to make me go outside. Don't you know my computer and chair are inside 😝?!

One of these days I'll get off my lazy ass and get some nature photos for your competition. My poor camera is feeling neglected. I haven't taken it out for exercise in a long time.

Looking forward to seeing the next round of winners!

Awesome, will be a pleasure to have you in this challenge :) Enjoy your outside time! :D
