Chipmunk in the graveyard 🐿️

in Amazing Nature11 months ago

The Siberian chipmunk (Eutamias sibiricus), also called common chipmunk or Asian chipmunk

These fluffy guys live nearby in the forest, but just a few years ago they began to quietly appear in the old cemetery, which is located near the forest.
Chipmunks do not go far from their home, they have a limited habitat, but sometimes they have to expand it and go beyond its borders.

Moreover, there is such an old tradition to leave various food and flowers on the graves. This is what small animals and birds use. And unfortunately forest stray dogs too.
This friend in the photo just found something edible on the grave, and immediately began to eat it. It was difficult to approach him without scaring him, but he was very hungry so he just sat and ate.
