I took this shot from the north side of the island St. Thomas, in the US Virgin Islands. Some info about Leeward Islands:
The Leeward Islands include US Virgin Islands, British Virgin Islands, Anguilla, St. Marteen, St. Barthelemy, Saba, Sint Eustatius, St. Kitts, Nevis, Barbuda, Antigua, Redonda, Monserrat and Guadeloupe.
In this shot we can see the island Tortola far in the background. The close up island is a deserted small island. The locals call it ‘Goat island’ because there are a lot of wild goats jumping around there. I wonder if it is true... it could also be a private island, who knows?
What I find amazing about this shot is the sunset colors and the clouds. It really looks like a huge explosion, don’t you think?
