Muy buen lunes amantes de las costuras, hilos y agujas. Por fin terminé la modificación del vestido rojo ¿recuerdan? Ya había mostrado el tutorial para el top, el link se los dejo al final de este post. Esta vez fue el turno de la falda, para ella necesité: hilos, aguja, alfileres, la máquina, otro tono de tela para hacer contraste, cinta métrica, cariño y paciencia. Bueno, luego de haber cortado el vestido en 2: el top y la falda. Me la probé y vi que no me gustaba el largo, entonces la doblé por la mitad y corté.
Good Monday, sewing, thread and needle lovers. I finally finished the modification of the red dress, remember? I had already shown the tutorial for the top, the link is at the end of this post. This time it was the turn of the skirt, for it I needed: threads, needle, pins, the machine, another shade of fabric for contrast, measuring tape, love and patience. Well, after cutting the dress in 2: the top and the skirt. I tried it on and saw that I didn't like the length, so I folded it in half and cut it.
Luego le puse alfileres en los laterales para hacerla más ajustada ya que la tela estira, también marqué y corté una abertura encima de una de las piernas, para darle un toque sexy. Después, con una costura zig zag y luego recta procedí a coser los laterales, el ruedo, y la abertura. Nuevamente, la probé y sentí que le faltaba algo más que la hiciera resaltar o combinable con más cosas. Entonces, corte una y cosí en la pierna contraria una cinta negra, de tela elástica también, la sujeté con con alfileres y primero la cosí por el centro, luego llevé hacia adentro los laterales y pase un costura simple.
Then I pinned the sides to make it tighter since the fabric stretches, I also marked and cut an opening on top of one of the legs, to give it a sexy touch. Then, with a zig zag and then a straight seam I proceeded to sew the sides, the hem, and the opening. Again, I tried it on and felt that it was missing something else to make it stand out or to combine it with more things. So, I cut one and sewed on the opposite leg a black ribbon, also made of elastic fabric, pinned it and first sewed it in the center, then I brought the sides inwards and sewed a simple seam.
Es importante que sepan que en esa cinta negra dejé un espacio sin coser en la parte top, para así pasar un cinta más delgada y arruchar, un toque súper más sexy y cómodo también, sin duda la hace casual pero también algo deportivo. Su estilo es multifuncional, algo que me caracteriza y me encanta.

Con el top, si se se fijan también lo volví a modificar, pero solo la parte baja, le quite el borde negro, porque la veia como muy pesada, de hecho, cuando me probe todo el look se sintió muy cómodo y eso es lo más importante para mí, ese dicho que “de la moda lo que te acomoda” es como un mantra al cual le doy toda la razón.
