On this Knitting Monday, I want to share another Christmas project with you. I confess that it won't be the last because I'm still creating gifts for this Christmas. After knitting the white stars and seeing how beautiful the yarn looked, I wanted to keep using it. That's how I came up with the idea of making a different kind of Christmas tree, without using the traditional colors. Without thinking too much about it, this little tree began to take on a boho chic look that I loved.

En este lunes de agujas quiero compartir otro proyecto navideño, les confieso que no será el último porque sigo creando detalles para esta Navidad. Luego de tejer las estrellas blancas y, al ver lo bonito que quedaba el hilado, me dieron ganas de seguir usándolo. Así, surgió la idea de hacer un arbolito navideño distinto, sin usar los colores tradicionales. Sin pensarlo mucho, este arbolito comenzó a tomar un aire boho chic que me encantó.

Using the same yarn I used to knit the stars, I knitted a white granny square to shape the tree. I really liked how it was turning out, because the white yarn gave it a delicate and elegant look. Then, using an ecru or beige yarn, I made the base and thought the combination was perfect. Boho Chic is characterized by white, cream, and beige colors, so this detail helped give the tree a relaxed yet sophisticated style.
Next, I added details to decorate it. I added a wooden bead to give it a natural touch. I also used a 2 mm brown silk cord or rattail cord, which added a lot of harmony to the design. I also added a ribbon with a brown heart pattern, ideal for reinforcing the boho chic style. The golden stones added a soft, elegant shine, just enough to subtly enhance it.
Today I share it with great affection and hope that this little tree inspires you to try new combinations, play with textures, and let yourself be surprised by what emerges when we allow ourselves to create freely.
Con el mismo hilado con el que tejí las estrellas, tejí un granny blanco para darle forma al arbolito. Me gustó mucho ver cómo iba quedando, porque el hilo blanco le dio un aspecto delicado y elegante. Luego, con un hilado color crudo o beige, le hice la base y me pareció que la combinación fue perfecta. El Boho Chic se caracteriza por los colores blanco, crema y beige, así que este detalle ayudó a que el arbolito tuviera ese estilo relajado y sofisticado al mismo tiempo.
Después, fui añadiendo detalles para decorarlo. Le puse una cuenta de madera que le aportó un toque natural. También, usé un cordón de seda o cola de ratón de 2 mm en tono marrón, que le agregó al diseño mucha armonía. También añadí una cinta velo estampada con corazones color café, ideal para reforzar el estilo boho chic. Las piedritas doradas terminaron de aportar un brillo suave, elegante, justo lo necesario para realzarlo sutilmente.
Hoy lo comparto con mucho cariño y espero que este pequeño arbolito las inspire a probar combinaciones nuevas, a jugar con texturas y a dejarse sorprender por lo que surge cuando nos permitimos crear con libertad.
