Hello, hello beautiful community of needlework and fabric lovers, I hope you are enjoying good health together with your loved ones, it is a pleasure to share with you my sewing projects, this time the elaboration of a reversible sheet, pillowcase and baby blanket for a very dear cousin (in a previous publication I shared the elaboration of the quilt).

Initially this project would have 3 pieces (quilt, sheet and pillow) as there was some fabric left over I decided to add a bucherito for the beautiful baby, this piece usually has a cotton fabric lining or other material that is soft to mistreat the baby's skin, looking in the patchwork bag I found cotton fabric and hands! to work I could make the bucherito, this combination of fabrics I really liked the fresh colors, the textures are soft and complement each other very well for the baby to be comfortable and protected from the cold.

I pinned the green circle and sewed on the reverse side, then traced some lines on the green circle to simulate the center of the flower and sewed with a straight stitch.

For the lining, I cut 2 taffeta rectangles and sewed a hem on one of the sides. I faced the printed fabric and taffeta right to right, pinned, stitched all around, cut the excess and turned over.

I glued the ruffle all around, faced right to right the lining and main fabric, sewed leaving an opening, turned and closed with a hidden stitch (the process is similar to that of the sheet).
