My dreaming owl
Hello my beautiful friends, today I come to present a new project that I made this week but had not given me the opportunity to publish it, it is my "dreaming owl" I put it so because it is very sleepy, he spends it in my bed and accompanies me in my dreams. I tell you that for a long time I wanted to make an owl like this, but as always we are leaving projects for later and time goes by and we never put in motion each of those things that we have in the corner of "projector to try".
Transforming old things into something beautiful
My friend gave me these pants and cushions that I no longer use and now I'm going to transform them into new and beautiful things to reuse. To begin with I wanted to make this owl cushion with one of the legs of the pants and some pieces of fabric that I had left over from another project I did a few days ago.
Maybe you have noticed but I love cushions, I have them all over my house, in the living room, the bedroom, in the computer chair to be more comfortable; I don't treat them as just another cushion but as something useful to be comfortable and decorative to beautify every corner of my home.
Step by step
The Internet is the tool par excellence for everyone, there you can get models, patterns and much more. Find the model you like, copy it on a sheet, cut it out and pass it to the fabric, then cut it out. I made it right in the middle and cut the pants just the fabric I needed for that. What I just said is important, so we must know what we want to do before cutting, use all your senses, imagine for a moment what you want to do, if you like it big or small, that will help you a lot to save materials and do things well.
When we have all the figures cut out, we fix each one of them to the main fabric with pins or with needle and thread making long stitches only so that they do not move when sewing.
With needle and thread of the same color we make festoon stitch all around each piece and in the bigger ones you can use in zigzag in the sewing machine or continue by hand. When we have everything ready we put the back of the cushion, we leave an opening where we will introduce the filling and then close with a hidden stitch.

Mi búho soñador
Hola mis amigos preciosos, hoy les vengo a presentar un nuevo proyecto que realicé esta semana pero no me habia dado oportunidad de publicarlo; se trata de mi "buho soñador" le coloqué asi porque es muy dormilon, se la pasa en mi cama y me acompaña en mis sueños. Les cuento que desde hace tiempo queria hacer un buho asi, pero como siemrpe vamos dejando proyectos para despues y se nos pasa el tiempo y nunca ponemos en marcha cada una de esas cosas que tenemos en el rincon de "proyector por intentar"
Transformar cosas viejas en algo hermoso
Mi amiga Romelia me regaló este pantalon y estos cojines que ya no usaba y ahora lo voy a transformar en cosas nuevas y hermosas para reutilizar. Para empezar quise hacer este cojin de búho con una de las piernas del pantalon y algunos retazos de tela que me sobraron de otro proyecto que hice hace unos dias.
Tal vez se han dado cuenta pero me encantan los cojines, los tengo por todos lados de mi casa, en la sala, el cuarto, en la silla de la computadora para estar más comoda; no los trato como un cojin más sino como algo util para estar comodos y decorativo para embellecer cada rincon de mi hogar.
Paso a paso
Internet es la herramienta por excelencia para todo el mundo, ahi puedes conseguir modelos, patrones y mucho más.
Busca el modelo que mas te guste, copialo en una hoja, recortalo y pasalo a la tela, luego recorta. Yo lo hice justo en la mitad y corte del pantalon justo la tela que necesitaba para eso. Esto que acabo de decir es importante, por eso debemos saber bien que es lo que queremos hacer antes de cortar, utiliza todos tus sentidos, imaginate por un momento que es lo que quieres hacer, si te gusta bien grande o pequeño, eso te ayudara mucho para ahorar materiales y hacer las cosas bien.
Cuando ya tenemos todas las figuras recortadas, fijamos cada una de ellas a la tela principal con alfileres o con aguja e hilo haciendo puntadas largas solo para que no se muevan al moemnto de coser.
Con aguja e hilo del mismo color hacemos punto feston por todo el rededor de cada pieza y en las mas grandes puedes utilizar en zigzag en la maquina de coser o continuar a mano. Cuando tenemos todo listo colocamos la parte posterior del cojin, dejamos una abertura por donde vamos a introducir el relleno y luego cerramos con puntada escondida.
Las criaturas nocturnas son un símbolo de sabiduría interior, capacidad psíquica e intuición. Las aves son consideradas por muchas culturas como mensajeros entre las criaturas terrenales y espirituales. Según los esotéricos, es un excelente amuleto para proteger el hogar de todas las energías negativas que provengan del exterior.
Espero que les haya gustado amigos, yo no creo mucho en el mundo esoterico ni nada de esas cosas, pero de que vuelan vuelan. Yo lo hago porque me gusta el modelo y genera en mi un sentimiento bonito, como de ternura cuando lo miro, asi que esto ha sido todo por hoy, espero vernos en un proximo "Hecho con amor".
