Hey que tal amigos de HIVE, me he vuelto totalmente fanática de los vestidos sobre todo los Popover Dress, creo que es una moda muy interesante ya que son muy coquetos y femeninos, además de que estilizan mucho la figura de la mujer.
En esta ocasión le mostrare como hacer en muy pocos pasos un vestido sencillo y cosido a mano, utilzando una camisa que compré por 0.50$ en una tienda de ofertas.
Hey, how are you, friends of HIVE, I have become a total fan of dresses, especially Popover Dresses, I think it is a very interesting fashion since they are very flirtatious and feminine, in addition to stylizing the figure of women a lot.
This time I will show you how to make a simple, hand-sewn dress in just a few steps, using a shirt that I bought for $ 0.50 at a discount store.

Manos a la Obra./ Let's do it.
Yo comencé separando las mangas de la camisa.
I started by separating the sleeves from the shirt.
Luego separe el cuello del resto de la camisa para comenzar a trabajar de lleno en nuestro vestido.
Then separate the collar from the rest of the shirt to start working fully on our dress.
Separamos los laterales.
We separate the sides.
Como ya tenemos la parte de arriba preformada solo cortaremos al nivel de la cintura, tanto la delantera como la parte trasera.
As we already have the upper part preformed, we will only cut at the waist level, both the front and the back.
En este paso mi mama me ayudo un poco tomando las medidas y marcando el sitio donde tengo que cocer las pinzas delanteras del vestido.
Luego lo marque con el lápiz donde voy a cortar y donde coseré las pinzas.
In this step my mother helped me a little by taking the measurements and marking the place where I have to sew the front clothespins of the dress.
Then I marked it with the pencil where I am going to cut and where I will sew the tweezers.
Al tener la pieza delantera lista, corté la trasera del mismo tamaño.
Having the front piece ready, I cut the back piece the same size.
Teniendo las dos piezas terminadas solo queda unirlas por los laterales.
Having the two pieces finished, it only remains to join them on the sides.
Para luego continuar con la costura de la sisas en las mangas.
Then continue with the seam of the armholes on the sleeves.
Para darle un toque más de lindura al vestido confeccioné a modo de cinturón un listón blanco de unos 3 cm de ancho que luego uní a la cintura de la parte superior de nuestro vestido.
To give the dress a more cute touch, I made a white ribbon about 3 cm wide as a belt, which I then attached to the waist of the upper part of our dress.
Para ir finalizando hacemos un plisado sencillo a toda nuestra parte inferior del vestido tanto la delantera como la trasera para luego cocerlo al cinturón blanco que les mencione anteriormente.
To finish we make a simple pleat to all our lower part of the dress both the front and the back and then sew it to the white belt that I mentioned above.
