Saludos cordiales para todos. Tenemos un nuevo concurso en la comunidad #needleworkmonday, el cual consiste en elaborar un traje, accesorio o artículo de primera necesidad para la Barbie.
Ya le he realizado a la mía (que es prestada) varios trajes casuales y deportivos, algunos de fiesta, delantales y ropa íntima. Además ella ya es poseedora de tres artefactos de línea blanca: nevera, cocina y lavadora. También tiene en su haber muebles y materiales de oficina. Pensé entonces, ¿cuál sería mi proyecto para el concurso? Habían pasado ya varios días después que conocí sobre él, pero no tenía inspiración. Muchas ideas sí, sin embargo esa emoción que me mueve a buscar la aguja y el hilo estaba tardando en aparecer.
Tomé a la muñeca, la desvestí, la bañé y la dejé secando un poco sobre el mesón de la cocina. Momento en el que mi hijo se atrevió a fotografiarla sin ropita y eso me disgustó un poco. La agarré y la paré en frente de mí mientras hacía otros proyectos.
Sin mucho pensarlo de pronto sentí el deseo de hacer algo por ella, pero no quería hacerle ropa 😟 intenté haciendo un disfraz, pero antes de terminarlo decidí dejarlo para después.
Hasta que, dando vueltas por la casa, haciendo mis labores se me activó el espíritu creativo combinado con el navideño y mi deseo de ver feliz a la muñeca. De manera inusual fui sacando material y empecé a tejerle una ropita modesta y sencilla. Al terminar me pareció que estaba siendo muy mezquina y que debía hacerle algo más. ¡Ahora sí me inspiré y empecé a trabajar!

Warm greetings to all. We have a new contest in the #needleworkmonday community, which consists of making an outfit, accessory or staple item for Barbie.
I've already made mine (which is borrowed) several casual and sporty outfits, some party outfits, aprons and intimate apparel. In addition, she already owns three appliances: refrigerator, stove and washing machine. She also owns furniture and office supplies. I thought to myself, what would be my project for the contest? It had already been several days after I learned about it, but I had no inspiration. I had many ideas, but the excitement that moves me to look for the needle and thread was taking a long time to appear.
I took the doll, undressed it, bathed it and left it to dry a little on the kitchen counter. At that moment my son dared to take a picture of her without her clothes on and that upset me a little. I grabbed her and held her in front of me while I did other projects.
Without much thought I suddenly felt the desire to do something for her, but I didn't want to make her clothes 😟 I tried making a costume, but before I finished it I decided to leave it for later.
Until, walking around the house, doing my chores, my creative spirit combined with the Christmas spirit and my desire to see the doll happy. Unusually, I took out some material and started to knit her a modest and simple outfit. When I finished it seemed to me that I was being too mean and that I should make her something else, now I was inspired and I started working!

En esa mañana me dediqué a realizar su ropa. Aproveché unos hilos que me quedaron de un proyecto pasado. Al siguiente día también mientras iba realizando mis labores, entre un espacio y otro se me fueron ocurriendo ideas que gracias a Dios tuvieron un buen resultado. Al menos a nosotras nos encantó. Ahora te muestro el proceso con más detalle.

Procedimiento:
🎄 Empecé haciéndole un pantalón tipo bermudas. Por primera vez lo hice como si fuera a realizar un amigurumi, tomando siempre las medidas de la muñeca. Usé los puntos cadena, punto alto y punto deslizado.
Después tejí su blusita tipo estraple. Para cerrarlo le elaboré cuatro trenzas y las anudé en la parte de la espalda.

Procedure:
🎄 I started by making her a pair of bermuda shorts. For the first time I made it as if I was going to make an amigurumi, always taking the doll's measurements. I used chain stitch, stockinette stitch and slip stitch.
Then I knitted her little blouse. To close it, I made four braids and knotted them at the back.

En la cocina estaba ya terminado el rollo de papel absorbente y lo usé para hacer el armazón del arbolito de navidad 😃 le di la forma adecuada, coloqué una base redonda más grande que la del rollo de cartón y luego lo forré con guata.
Tomé la cesta de mis hilos pabilos e inicié a tejer una guirnalda de luces. Este proceso fue lento y tedioso porque al terminar se esconden todas las hebras ya que usé diferentes colores de hilos.
Teniendo listo el árbol y la guirnalda me fijé que haría falta un pie de árbol, así que saqué la cesta de los fieltros, no me quedaba del verde navidad por lo que usé un verde más claro. Recorté un círculo en la tela más grande que el de la base del árbol. Coloqué la cinta de raso por el borde y pegué algunas lentejuelas para dar brillo.
Continué con mis labores domésticas y volví a presentar el árbol. ¡Ah! Me faltó la estrella. Urgando entre mis cositas encontré una muy linda de anime cubierta de escarcha. La monté sobre medio palito de altura decorado con cinta.
Con un hilo de crochet color dorado realicé varios lazos y los pegué en el arbolito ya decorado con las lucecitas, así mismo dejé caer unas hebras sobre él.

The paper towel roll was already finished in the kitchen and I used it to make the frame of the Christmas tree 😃 I gave it the right shape, put a round base bigger than the cardboard roll and then lined it with wadding.
I took the basket of my pabilo strands and started weaving a garland of lights. This process was slow and tedious because when finished all the strands are hidden as I used different colors of yarn.
Having the tree and garland ready I realized that I needed a tree stand, so I took the basket out of the felts, I didn't have any Christmas green left so I used a lighter green. I cut out a circle in the fabric larger than the base of the tree. I placed the satin ribbon around the edge and glued on some sequins for sparkle.
I continued with my housework and presented the tree again. Ah! I missed the star. Rummaging through my stuff I found a cute anime one covered in frost. I mounted it on a half-height stick decorated with ribbon.
With a golden crochet thread I made several loops and stuck them on the tree already decorated with the little lights, I also let some strands fall on it.

¡Labor terminada! Este proyecto lo hice alternado con mis oficios en casa, algo que no acostumbro hacer. Pero cuando la inspiración viene yo no la dejo pasar.
El resto de la labor lo delegué en la muñeca. Ella se encargó de estrenarse la ropa, elegir los adornos para decorar y poner el arbolito. Creó una ambientación navideña y luego se sentó con sus hilos a buscar inspiración. ¿Cuántos proyectos se le ocurrirán mientras está allí disfrutando del resultado de su trabajo?

Finished work! I did this project alternating it with my crafts at home, something I don't usually do. But when inspiration comes I don't let it go.
I delegated the rest of the work to the doll. She was in charge of making the clothes, choosing the ornaments to decorate and putting up the tree. She created a Christmas setting and then sat down with her yarns to look for inspiration. How many projects will she come up with while she's there enjoying the results of her work?

I am so glad you didn’t give up and gave your inspiration time to come. I always appreciate the littlest details you take the time to make. The tree, little lights and other decor are so adorable (I especially love her yarn basket). I love her nice casual outfit which looks so cute and cozy.
What I love most is how you provided a story for us. Her photoshoot shows that she is excitedly preparing her decorations for the holiday, carefully organizing each piece. You allowed us to see this through her eyes. It was so much fun reading your entry.

Los retos tienen para mí un significado especial, más allá de detallar un proyecto siento la necesidad de expresarme mediante lo que presento.
Tengo muchos deseos de poder disfrutar del ambiente navideño que me pareció genial hacerlo desde #hive siendo mi Barbie la protagonista.
Cuando tejo con varios colores de hilos intercalados ya sé que debo tomar unas cuantas horas para el proceso de esconder las hebras, a mí me gusta ver el cambio 😁 pero a veces uno anda como de afán porque ya quiere ver el resultado final.
