Hello friends how are you all I hope you all are fine I am also fine. so today I crocheted again a simple and useful thing. and that is a book marker. I needed a book marker for my Quran so instead of buying it I preferred to make it because I know crochet and making this is extremely easy anyone can easily make it it took me 5 mins to make it because it is very easy so it gets made very quickly. so I thought I should share its full tutorial with you all so you all can also make it.
Materials needed
To make this cute book marker we need these things.
Green color yarn
Yellow color yarn
White color yarn
Needle
UHU glue
2.5mm hook
So these are the only things needed to make this book marker.
I saw this book marker on YouTube I searched crochet book marker on YouTube and many book markers came but I liked this daisy flower book marker the most because it is very cute and decent so that is why I made it.
Making the flower
To make it first I took yellow color yarn then made a magic ring. and inside this magic ring I made 6 single stitches and pulled the yarn. because I needed 6 petals so I made 6 single stitches inside the magic ring if you want more or less petals you can make more or less stitches in the magic ring. then after making 6 single stitches I slip stitched into the first stitch and cut the yarn.
Flower patel's
Now to make the petals insert your white color yarn in any stitch of the magic ring then make three chains and in the same stitch make 3 double crochet. then after 3 double crochet again make 3 chains then slip stitch in the same stitch. so in this way our first petal will be ready. now the remaining 5 petals have to be made in the same pattern meaning (3 chains, 3 double crochet, 3 chains). when all 6 petals are made then in the end slip stitch and cut the yarn. then the yarn coming out stitch it inside the flower with the help of a needle. so in this way our daisy flower is ready.
Making the leaf
Now we make the leaf. to make the leaf take green color yarn then make 8 chains with it. then skip the first chain and in the 2nd chain make 1 single stitch then in the next chain make 1 half double crochet. in the next 3 chains make double crochet. then in the next chain again make double crochet then the last 2 chains left in these make 1 single stitch first then in the next chain make a slip stitch. so in this way one side of the leaf will be made now to make the other side follow the same pattern meaning (single stitch, half double crochet, 3 double crochet, half double crochet, single stitch, slip stitch). so in this way our leaf will be ready.
Making the stem
Now to make the stem make 60 chains you can make it less or more according to your book for my Quran I made 60 chains. this was the perfect size.
Assembling
Now attach the flower stem and leaf with each other. so I attached the flower with uhu glue and stitched the leaf on the stem with the help of a needle.
Final result
