Made from the "Sporty Forties" pattern by Folkwear, this will likely be my favorite summer dress for the next several years.

The skirt has pleats stitched down for a few inces, then released for plenty of walking room:
This is a classic style done in a modern colorful floral cotton broadcloth. I purchased the fabric locally and ordered the buttons in bulk from Wawak tailor supply. I hope to get a chance to wear this to church once or twice before the weather turns cold in Illinois.
