Cuando era niña tenía una muñeca, esta era muy especial para mí. Mi madre tejía y la ví tejiendo algunos vestidos. Así que le insistí le tejiera uno a mi muñeca. Pero no tenía hilo, así que la tarea fue tomar los hilos de una vieja hamaca y unirlos todos con un nudo fino y los enrollábamos hasta tener suficiente.
When I was a little girl I had a doll, this one was very special to me. My mother knitted and I saw her knitting some dresses. So I insisted that she knit one for my doll. But I had no yarn, so the task was to take the threads from an old hammock and tie them all together with a fine knot and we would wind them up until we had enough.
Mi madre tejió un lindo vestido y como los hilos variaban de color era un diseño como de arcoíris. Gracias por hacerme recordar este evento con este concurso.
My mother knitted a cute dress and as the yarns varied in color it was a rainbow like design. Thank you for making me remember this event with this contest.
Yo no sé tejer vestidos, pero con un retazo de tela cosí este vestido elegante para la muñeca de mi hija, y un hermoso bolso.
I don't know how to knit dresses, but with a scrap of fabric I sewed this elegant dress for my daughter's doll, and a beautiful purse.
Materiales:
Un retazo de tela
Aguja e hilo
Tijeras y encaje
Hilo de tejer y aguja
Materials:
A piece of fabric
Needle and thread
Scissors and lace
Knitting thread and needle
Para este vestido corté las piezas y medí el ancho y el largo que quería el vestido.
For this dress I cut the pieces and measured the width and length I wanted the dress to be.
Cosí a mano la parte superior primero y corte una de las piezas al medio para que se le pueda colocar a la muñeca.
I hand sewed the top part first and cut one of the pieces in the middle so that it can be attached to the doll.
Cosí la parte de la camisa a la falda y también le tomé el ruedo.
I sewed the shirt part to the skirt and also took the hem.
Después de esto le coloqué un encaje en la cintura que servirá para sujetarlo.
After this I placed a lace at the waist that will serve to hold it in place.
Hice una cadeneta y se la coloque a un pequeño bolso que hice con cinta. Y le apliqué una flor tejida en crochet.
I made a chain stitch and attached it to a small bag I made with ribbon. And I applied a crocheted flower.
Con todos estos detalles listos te muestro como quedó esta linda muñeca!
