Estoy muy feliz de poder compartir con ustedes de un proyecto que me tardé en culminarlo alrededor de 7 horas intercaladas durante casi una semana, pues solo le podía dedicar un lapso aproximado de 1 hora al día; resulta que tenía planificado un viaje corto y llevar una maleta era mucho, fui de tiendas a buscar un morral lo suficientemente grande para llevar el equipaje para dos o tres días y que creen el costo de los morrales oscilaban entre los 40 y 50 dólares, mucho dinero para mi corto bolsillo.

Para este morral contaba con poco dinero y 1 semana para conseguirlo, así que busqué en la tienda textil de mi ciudad y compré el material necesario para el mismo con un costo de 9 dólares en total, por lo que me ahorraría unos 31 dólares aproximadamente, entre las necesidades específicas del morral estaban: 1 bolsillo externo para llevar una carpeta con documentos, un bolsillo oculto para pertenencias importantes y los bolillos laterales para llevar el envase para el agua y el antibacterial, por lo que definitivamente el morral debía hacerlo yo, mi nuevo desafío.
For this backpack I had little money and 1 week to get it, so I looked in the textile store in my city and bought the necessary material for it with a cost of 9 dollars in total, so I would save about 31 dollars approximately, among the specific needs of the backpack were: 1 external pocket to carry a folder with documents, a hidden pocket for important belongings and the side pockets to carry the container for water and antibacterial, so definitely the backpack had to do me, my new challenge.
El morral cuenta con las siguientes medidas 45 cm de alto, 32 cm de ancho y 16 cm de espesor; para ello corté las siguientes piezas:
- 2 piezas de 47 cm por 34 cm en Lona y en tafeta para forro.
- 1 pieza en lona y 1 de tafeta, para el bolsillo trasero y una pieza en tela y cremallera para el bolsillo anti robo.
- cremallera y fuelles superiores para la cremallera y fuelle inferior.
- 2 piezas para bolsillos laterales y elásticas.
- 2 piezas de lona tanto el soporte superior e inferior de las hombreras, 2 piezas de goma espuma delgada, cinta Poly y pasadores de plástico.
- Piezas en Lona y tafeta para el bolsillo con fuelle delantero y cremallera.
The backpack has the following measurements: 45 cm high, 32 cm wide and 16 cm thick; for this I cut the following pieces:

Para armar el morral seguí los siguientes pasos: comencé armando el bolsillo oculto, para ello ajusté la tela a la lona , marqué el ancho y largo de la cremallera, cosí, corté y luego cosí la cremallera y cerre el bolsillo, seguido ajusté la tafeta a la lona y cosí para formar el bolsillo para la carpeta.
To assemble the backpack I followed the following steps: I started assembling the hidden pocket, for this I adjusted the fabric to the canvas, marked the width and length of the zipper, sewed, cut and then sewed the zipper and closed the pocket, then I adjusted the taffeta to the canvas and sewed to form the pocket for the folder.
Seguido armé el bolsillo con fuelle delantero, primero cosí la cremallera a cada lado con la lona y tafeta, seguido para darle un poco mas de seguridad al bolsillo ajusté las orillas de la parte superior del bolsillo, doble y cosí un pespunte; luego cosí las esquinas y listo ya el bolsillo está armado.

Seguido uní ambos laterales y le cosí el asa de mano en la parte superior del fuelle.

Seguido armé las hombreras, primero cosí la cinta Poly al soporte inferior, luego doble la lona alrededor de la goma espuma y cosí, le coloqué la cinta Poly a uno de los extremos y los ajusté con alfileres a la pieza trasera del bolso.

En el forro de la parte delantera quise colocar un bolsillo interno y para ello cosí un corte de tafeta del ancho de la lona por 30 cm de largo, lo doblé y cosí por las orillas, volteé y cosí haciendo lugar para 3 espacios. Seguido ajusté la pieza delantera al fuelle y cosí por toda la orilla a 1cm, seguido monté la pieza del forro y cosí dejando una abertura para voltear.
In the lining of the front I wanted to place an internal pocket and for this I sewed a taffeta cut of the width of the canvas by 30 cm long, folded it and sewed along the edges, turned and sewed making room for 3 spaces. Then I adjusted the front piece to the gusset and sewed all around the edge at 1cm, then I mounted the lining piece and sewed leaving an opening to turn over.
Repetí el procedimiento con la parte trasera, volteé y cerré a mano.

Wow parece mentira pero si lo logré un morral justo a mi medida, ya no tengo de que preocuparme para los viajes cortos, cuan complacida y satisfecha me siento por este nuevo logro.
