Desde niños tenemos la idea de estudiar para trabajar en una empresa y formar una familia. Esto va cambiando a medida del paso de los años y surgen nuevas alternativas. Me enfocaré en una de estas alternativas como lo es el trabajo en línea. Subestimado por muchos y cuestionado por otros. Lo cierto, es que esta modalidad de trabajo actualmente está en auge y es una alternativa implementada en las empresas.
Since we were children we have had the idea of studying to work in a company and start a family. This is changing as the years go by and new alternatives emerge. I will focus on one of these alternatives such as online work. Underestimated by many and questioned by others. The truth is that this modality of work is currently booming and is an alternative implemented in companies.
¿Y el crochet aún sigue utilizándose? / And is crochet still in use?
Si bien es cierto el tejido nos acompaña desde tiempos inmemoriales y fue enseñado de generación en generación, hoy está dando un giro de 180º. Cada vez más personas desean aprender a tejer a crochet y/o a dos palitos, ya sea desde tejer sus propias prendas para lucirlas y apreciar más el valor de lo hecho a mano hasta tejer muñecos para regalárselos a sus seres queridos.
Desempolvar el crochet para mucho fue una aventura. En mi caso, me encanta dibujar y el hecho de sacar desde el papel personajes propios fue una locura (o más que eso si existiese una palabra). Fue algo con mucho potencial y quienes lo practican son artistas sin duda algunas.
Although it is true that knitting has been with us since time immemorial and has been taught from generation to generation, today it is taking a 180º turn. More and more people want to learn to crochet and/or knit with two sticks, from knitting their own clothes to show them off and appreciate the value of handmade things to knitting dolls to give to their loved ones.
Dusting off crochet for many was an adventure. In my case, I love to draw and the fact of drawing my own characters from paper was crazy (or more than that if there was a word). It was something with a lot of potential and those who practice it are artists without a doubt some of them.
¿Cuán difícil es aprender a tejer a crochet? / How difficult is it to learn to crochet?
Depende de lo que quieras aprender a tejer. Al inicio se debe practicar bastante, eso sí, es recomendable realizar pausas cada cierto tiempo (30min) sino a la larga tendrás problemas de salud. Según mi experiencia tejer es como escribir, es decir las manos terminarán cansadas si escribimos por tiempos prolongados y sin descanso.

At the beginning you have to practice a lot, but it is advisable to take breaks every 30 minutes, otherwise you will have health problems in the long run. According to my experience, knitting is like writing, that is to say, your hands will end up tired if you write for long periods of time without a break.

Una vez que domines los puntos, debes empezar con tejidos pequeños. En internet se encuentra múltiples patrones con derechos libres de autor y también los hay de pago. Entre las plataformas más utilizadas para aprender tenemos a You tube, allí se encuentra de todo desde cómo utilizar una licuadora hasta asistir a cursos específicos completos de manera libre. Siguiendo esta línea, hace poco cree mi canal de Youtube Iniciartecraft donde aprenderás poco a poco a tejer amigurumis, sobre todo para poner en práctica lo aprendido. Tengo planeados varios tejidos de amigurumis para este canal, desde piezas individuales hasta colecciones completas de personajes conocidos y añorados por muchos. Además, teniendo presente la cultura nacional e internacional.

Following this line, I recently created my YouTube channel Iniciartecraft where you will learn little by little how to knit amigurumis, especially to put into practice what you have learned. I have planned several amigurumi weavings for this channel, from individual pieces to complete collections of characters known and missed by many. Also, keeping in mind the national and international culture.
Respondiendo a la pregunta inicial, pienso que cada día estoy construyendo mi futuro. Y aún no puedo afirmar que es como lo imaginé porque aún estoy en camino y trabajaré más en ello. Aunque de cierta manera estaba segura que en el futuro me dedicaría al arte y a las plantas en rasgos generales.
Answering the initial question, I think that every day I am building my future. And I can't say yet that it is as I imagined it because I am still on the way and I will work more on it. Although in a way I was sure that in the future I would dedicate myself to art and plants in general.
