Today I am very happy to share one more step in the making of the doll, we are getting closer to the end. This time I will show you how I made the hair of the doll.
Hoy estoy muy feliz de compartir un paso más en la realización de la muñeca, nos estamos acercando al final. En esta ocasión les mostraré cómo hice el cabello de la muñeca.

Steps / Pasos
Marking with pins/ Marcar con alfileres
The first step is to place pins that will be the guide to know where the hair will be placed..
El primer paso es colocar alfileres que serán la guía para saber por donde se irá colocando el cabello.
Hair length / Largo del cabello
Measure the desired length for the doll's hair, in my case, I am leaving it to the waist, because then it must be matched by cutting the hair with scissors..
Medir el largo deseado para el cabello de la muñeca, en mi caso, lo estoy dejando hasta la cintura, porque luego se debe emparejar cortando con una tijera el cabello.
Placing hair / Colocar cabello
Start at the front, after cutting the yarn to the required length of hair, fold the strand of yarn in half, put the needle in and pull the strand through. Repeat the sequence.
Comenzar por la parte delantera, luego de cortar el hilo para el largo requerido del cabello, se dobla la hebra de hilo por la mitad, se mete la aguja en y se hala la hebra. Repetir la secuencia.
Continue with the sequence on the right side, continue on the back side. Keep in mind, the pins are the guide, as you go along, remove the pins.
Continuar con la secuencia por el lado derecho, seguir por la parte trasera. Tener presente, los alfileres son la guía, a medida que se avanza ir retirando los alfileres.
Luego repetir las secuencia en cada vuelta dejando un punto de por medio, y así seguir avanzando.
Then repeat the sequence in each round leaving a stitch in between, and so on. Maintain the sequence
Project completed / Proyecto completado
After having completed the corresponding sequence, the doll's hair has been made. The realization of the hair requires patience and dedication, it is a repetitive part, at the end of the sequence the result is impressive. The next step is to make the doll's clothes.
Luego de haber completado la secuencia correspondiente se ha realizado el cabello de la muñeca. La realización del cabello requiere de paciencia y dedicación, es una parte repetitiva, al finalizar la secuencia el resultado es impresionante. El paso siguiente es realizar la vestimenta de la muñeca.

Recuerdo cuando coloqué ese cabello a mi primera muñeca, no se ustedes pero para mí es agotador...Creo que por eso no tejo muñecas grandes (jaja). Y lo peor fue que la pieza que sostenía la cabeza con el cuerpo era flexible y debido al abundante cabello, mi muñeca se va para un lado y para el otro. Pero ya aprendí, jaja.

Hola, gracias por comentar. Si, colocar el cabello es laborioso, me tomó bastante tiempo. Una pregunta ¿qué usaste para intentar sostener la cabeza?
En ese tiempo solo utilizaba los materiales que había en casa (jaja). Utilicé algo como una cañita/sorbete siliconada, esas que vienen con el juego de lonchera para los niños (set: tapers mas vaso de plástico con cañita).
