El dia de hoy estoy nuevamente ante esta bella comunidad de @needleworkmonday con un hermoso proyecto textil, donde le di una nueva utilidad a un retazo de tela rectangular, sobrante de un antiguo trabajo realizado.
Siempre me llena de emocion crear nuevas prendas con recortes, prendas viejas o tejidos dañados, pues es una muy buena forma de rehacer, crear y diseñar un nuevo proyecto, mejorando asi nuestra capacidad de crear o tecnica, nuestra economia y creatividad.

Today I'm back with this lovely @needleworkmonday community with a beautiful textile project, where I gave a new purpose to a rectangular piece of fabric left over from a previous project.
I'm always thrilled to create new garments from scraps, old clothes, or damaged fabrics, as it's a great way to remake, create, and design a new project, thus improving our creative skills, our budget, and our creativity.
Ya desde un inicio, tenia claro el diseño que deseaba, pues me propuse crear una pequeña linea de ropa para niñas de 1-3años, inspirada en el animal print. Contaba ya con dos hermoso vestidos creados y diseñados por mi, asi que este sentia la necesidad de hacerlo conjunto de dos piezas, y el tejido tenia el grosor y la resistencia como para crear una falda de tabla o tachones, no se bien como se les llama a este estilo.
Lo mas complejo, fue hallar el tejido animal print que le hiciera justicia al modelo y al volor del tejido, pero al final encontré la combinación perfecta.
From the very beginning, I had a clear idea of the design I wanted, as I set out to create a small clothing line for girls aged 1-3, inspired by animal print. I already had two beautiful dresses that I had created and designed myself, so I felt the need to make this one a two-piece set. The fabric had the right thickness and durability to create a pleated or gathered skirt—I'm not sure what the term is for this style.
The most challenging part was finding the animal print fabric that would do justice to the design and the color of the fabric, but in the end, I found the perfect combination.

Procedimiento:
1er paso:
Para este trabajo comence realizando los tachones o tablas a la falda, para ello dividi el rectangulo de tela en dos piezas iguales, y fui montando cada tachon, dejando 8-10cm de distancia entre cada uno. Cuando ya tenia mi ancho bien marcado, le coloque alfileres dandile mas firmeza, permitiendo que la costura quede recta y limpia.
En cada tachon colo que dos alfileres, para sujetar por arriba y para saber el largo mas menos de donde terminaria el pliegue semi inclinado
Procedure:
1st step
For this project, I began by making the pleats or darts on the skirt. To do this, I divided the rectangle of fabric into two equal pieces and assembled each dart, leaving 8-10 cm between each one. Once I had the width clearly marked, I used pins to give it more firmness, ensuring the seam would be straight and clean.
I placed two pins on each dart, one to hold it in place at the top and the other to indicate the approximate length of where the semi-slanted pleat would end.
2do paso:
Una vez colocada todos los alfileres, proceso a ir pasando costura poco a poco en la terminación de cada tachon, rematando la terminación del mismo. Luego uno con una costura francesa ambas piezas, quedando una estructura mas detallada del diseño.
2nd step:
Once all the pins are in place, I proceed to gradually sew along the end of each stud, finishing it off. Then I join both pieces with a French seam, resulting in a more detailed structure of the design.
3er paso:
Como penúltimo paso, realice el bajo o dobladillo de la falda y un fajin semi ancho para la parte de la cintura, donde tuviese un grosor de dos dedos aproximadamente. Se le puede añadir un elástico para darle mas consistencia, ya eso es al gusto.
3rd step:
As the penultimate step, hem the skirt and create a semi-wide sash for the waistband, about two fingers wide. You can add elastic for more structure; that's a matter of personal preference.
4to paso:
Por ultimo le añadi los lindos lazos en la parte de alante, a 3cm por debajo del fajin.
Para ello tome dos cuadrados de tela exactamente del mismo tamaño, los cosi reves con reves, dejando una pequeña abertura para voltearlo luego al derecho, cerrando luego ese espacio.
Seguido cosi un pequeño liston, pues sera empleado para sujetar y darle el efecto fruncido por el centro al lazo. Una vez listo este liston, lo coloque en las marcas echas con anterioridad, quedando asi parejos.
4th step:
Finally, I added the pretty bows to the front, 3 cm below the sash. To do this, I took two squares of fabric exactly the same size, sewed them wrong sides together, leaving a small opening to turn it right side out later, and then closed that opening. Next, I sewed a small ribbon, which will be used to fasten the bow and give it a gathered effect in the center. Once this ribbon was ready, I placed it on the marks I had made previously, making sure they were even.
