¡Hola queridos usuarios de Hive ✨💕!
Hi dear Hive users ✨💕!
Today I come with a fairly simple tutorial where I will be showing you how to make a neck pillow or better known as a traveling pillow, the truth is this pillow is extremely comfortable and although its use is mostly associated with long trips, the truth is that there are people who by medical recommendation should use it, and it is really very easy to do.

🧵 COMENCEMOS || LET'S GET STARTED 🧵
We start by making the pattern, for this we are going to draw a rectangle 35cm long by 23.5cm wide, at each corner we are going to assign a letter. From point A we will go down 15cm, and we will measure 5cm inwards to form a small rectangle at the bottom.
In the upper corner of this small rectangle we will measure 2cm down and 2cm to one side, and with these two marks we will form a curve. From the bottom line we will go up 10cm and measure 8cm inwards, these two marks we will join them with a curve.
From point D we will measure 7cm inward and 7cm upward and form a curve. From point B we will go down 18cm and from point A we will measure 9cm inwards and in these 9cm we will go down 0.5cm, and form a curve that goes a little straighter on the side.
We smooth the side line and join the top curve with the top line. These measurements already include the seam allowance.
Now we move on to the fabric, we will cut two pieces both to fold the fabric. Then we move on to sewing, we face the fabric right sides together and sew all the way around leaving an opening at the top big enough for our hand to pass through.
Once we have it sewn, we will make a small picks in the curves and turn around, so no lumps of fabric will be formed in the curves. We will start stuffing, the ideal is to do it with synthetic stuffing, however I use scraps of fabric that I keep as stuffing, and try to look for scraps of soft fabrics (no denim, canvas or semi leather) so that the pillow is not too hard.
Once we have it completely filled, we will close the opening with an invisible tip which we will do with needle and thread.
