Hello beautiful community! Good Monday and start of the whole week! My name is Erika and I am, among many other things, a passionate knitter! I bring you then all the amigurumis with which I entertained myself these months! A compilation of stories and photos, I've been knitting a lot, and after a while, here I come back to tell you everything, I hope you like it! 😊
Estos dos son estrella en este fin de mes, el murciélago ha sido bastante sencillo de lograr, solo que los colmillos me quedaban super feos. Los he tenido que intentar con distintos hilos y casi los hago de tela, pero al final logré que quedasen genial con una lanita finita de color blanco.
It en cambio, fue muy costoso de hacer, especialmente el cabello (que además no quedó como debía quedar) pero el resultado es encantador igualmente, he amado cada detalle.
These two are the star of this month, the bat was quite easy to make, only the fangs were super ugly. I had to try with different yarns and I almost made them out of fabric, but in the end I managed to make them look great with a thin white wool.
It, on the other hand, was very expensive to make, especially the hair (which was not as it should be) but the result is lovely anyway, I loved every detail.
La mariposa violeta, este bello amigurumi trató de ser lo más a ojo posible, utilicé un patrón básico para el tamaño de la cabeza, pero lo demás fue instintivo. El problema vendrá si tengo que volver a hacer una de este estilo. Siempre me pregunto porqué no apunto la cantidad de puntadas que hago mientras tejo, pero aún no tengo esa costumbre. Debería ejercitarlo más.
En cambio los pulpos son super facilísimos de hacer, estos me ayudan a tener algo colorido y al alcance de todo el mundo cuando me presento en una feria.
The purple butterfly, this beautiful amigurumi tried to be as much by eye as possible, I used a basic pattern for the size of the head, but the rest was instinctive. The problem will come if I have to make one of this style again. I always wonder why I don't write down the number of stitches I make while knitting, but I'm not in the habit yet. I should exercise it more.
On the other hand, the octopuses are super easy to make, they help me to have something colorful and within everyone's reach when I show up at a fair.
Osito fue mi primer patrón inventado de algo, empezó como una prueba de colores y vueltas, y resultó simpáticamente en lo que ven como terminado!
Y en la misma idea realicé el primer Daruma, que es un personaje que amo y disfruto de regalar, hace varios años tengo unos de ellos, y esta especie de pacto conmigo misma y esa promesa con el Daruma hacen que vuelva especial a esta criatura que solía ser humana ❤️
Little bear was my first invented pattern of something, it started as a test of colors and twists, and it turned out nicely in what you see as finished!

El patrón no venía con indicaciones para unir las piezas, y considero que esto es un dato crucial a la hora de acercar un patrón gratuito a la gente para que conozca tu trabajo. Bueno... son opiniones. Me costó demasiado, y he perdido un poco la paciencia para descubrir el proceso.

Es cierto que no fueron mis mejores fotografías esta vez, pero me gusta acercarles mi trabajo tal cual lo realizo. En el caso del pequeño uterito me gustaría colocarle un llavero o algo así, para usarlo como algo más que solo un muñequito con forma de útero, no ? Ha resultado muy cute y estoy encantada con el trabajo terminado.

Princesa griega - Su cabello ha sido un trabajo muy divertido, toda una coleta alta y ha sido también mi primer amigurumi con un alambre dentro. Tampoco tengo fotos de esta parte, pero aún así fue un desafío alcanzable, pude lograr que quede de pie sin necesidad de investigar mucho más que solo un alambre bien escondido
Greek Princess - Her hair has been a lot of fun to work with, all in a high ponytail and it was also my first amigurumi with a wire in it. I don't have pictures of this part either, but it was still an achievable challenge, I was able to get her to stand up without much more research than just a well hidden wire
Ahora sí, aquí les dejo una muestra de los viajeros, ellos ya tienen sus respectivos hogares, y envían fotos de vez en cuando... Estos yodas eran hermanos cuando vivían conmigo y ahora me cuentan sus travesías en fotos 😊

Hemos llegado al último día del mes y creo que es hora, amigos! Mi aporte de Halloween para la comunidad. Esperaba a esta fecha para poder lucirlos! Lo que mas me gusta de estos pequeños amigos es que lucen bonitos y amigables, aunque sean un poco terroríficos en la realidad.

Hice algunos collages y tomé varias fotos de ellos, sobre todo creo que estas fechas han de ser divertidas para cada uno en su propia actividad. Realicé algunos .gif y utilicé algunas de mis luces favoritas. Como si fuese un book de fotos real para los amigurumis 🤗

Sumando brujas, me faltaron escobas, varitas, y calderos, entonces solo sobraron brujas! Me encanta hacerlas ya que las diferencio con el pelo, o el color del traje, incluso les he inventado historias dependiendo del lugar de la casa donde las dejo. Crear es muy entretenido, empezando por dejar volar la imaginación!
Adding witches, I was short of brooms, wands, and cauldrons, so there were only witches left over! I love making them because I can tell them apart by their hair, or the color of their costumes, and I've even made up stories for them depending on the place in the house where I put them. Creating is a lot of fun, starting with letting your imagination run wild!
También aprovecho la fecha para volver a mostrar la muertecita, ya la he obsequiado, pero me hubiera gustado hacer otra y decorar la calavera como hacen los hermanos mexicanos. Aunque si es por eso, también me hubiera gustado tejer al monstruo de Frankenstein, y algunas arañas, no?

This is the end of my report, a little long, but I wanted to share the whole story a few months ago, it is really beautiful and relaxing for me to crochet, but not so much to take pictures and keep a daily record of my work.
