Hoy quiero compartirles mi experiencia haciéndole ropa a las Barbies de Isa, y es que en esta cuarentena infinita la imaginación hay que usarla para experimentar cosas nuevas y buenas y yo de entre tantas cosas que me inventado con isa, hacerles ropita a las muñecas es algo que hacemos bastante.
La idea consistió en usar figuras geométricas simples, en este caso un trapecio para crear la forma de un vestidito sencillo pero bonito para las barbies. También saque provecho de unos retazos de tela que teníamos por allí guardados.
En primer lugar, hice la forma de trapecio en una hoja de papel, recordando que, en términos simples, un trapecio es un rectángulo, que tiene uno de sus lados más angosto, en este caso el lado más pequeño es el superior para que quedara un vestido al estilo años 60s.
Fije el patrón a la tela, los dos lados del vestido de una vez, luego lo corte dejando un espacio entre la tela y el patrón para que hubiera chance de corregir algún detallito en las medidas, y también para el espacio que necesita la costura.
Y sin mucha delicadeza hice la costura de los lados, y la parte de los hombros, le hice una abertura en la parte del cuello para que tuviera una forma más bonita, y eso es prácticamente todo, le hice algunos detallitos más, como un cinturón y una cinta para el cabello.
Y llego la hora de vestir a las Barbies, aprovechamos para hacer una sesión de fotos, y por qué no, una edición agregándole más detalles en caricatura, como accesorios, zapatos, carteras, maquillaje, brillos y glamur.
Y el juego no termino allí, pasaron los días y conseguimos más retazos de tela e hicimos otro vestidito, esta vez en tela azul y puntitos blancos, y resulto que combinaba con un vestido de isa, así que allí está la respectiva foto de isa vestida igual a su barbie, de verdad una ternura.
Eso es todo por ahora amigos, de verdad una actividad que para mí es fuera de lo común pero muy divertida y relajante, además que la complicidad con mi hija cada vez se estrecha más, pues al estar con ella haciéndole ropitas a las muñecas, es como entrar en su mundo, hablar su mismo idioma, entender la importancia que tienen sus juguetes que son su posesión más preciada, aparte de sus libros. Así que fue una actividad muy linda, lamento no tomarme fotos directas con ella, sin embargo, el recuerdo quedo aquí registrado en esta bella comunidad.

First, I made the trapezoid shape on a sheet of paper, remembering that, in simple terms, a trapezoid is a rectangle, which has one of its sides narrower, in this case the smaller side is the upper side to make a dress in the style of the 60s.
I fixed the pattern to the fabric, both sides of the dress at once, then I cut it leaving a space between the fabric and the pattern so that there would be a chance to correct some details in the measurements, and also for the space needed for the sewing.
And without much delicacy I sewed the sides and the shoulders, I made an opening in the neck so it would have a nicer shape, and that's pretty much all, I made some more details, like a belt and a headband.
And then it was time to dress the Barbies, we took the opportunity to do a photo session, and why not, an edition adding more details in caricature, such as accessories, shoes, handbags, makeup, glitter and glamour.
And the game did not end there, the days went by and we got more fabric scraps and made another dress, this time in blue fabric and white dots, and it turned out that it matched with a dress of isa, so there is the respective photo of isa dressed just like her barbie, really cute.
That's all for now friends, really an activity that for me is out of the ordinary but very fun and relaxing, plus the complicity with my daughter is getting closer and closer, because being with her making clothes for the dolls, is like entering her world, speaking her same language, understanding the importance of her toys that are her most prized possession, apart from her books. So it was a very nice activity, I regret not taking direct photos with her, however, the memory is recorded here in this beautiful community.
