Reciclando Ropa de mi Esposo para mi Hijo Adrián // Recycling my Husband's Clothes for my Son by Hand MANO

in NeedleWorkMonday3 years ago (edited)

Hello, beautiful community that loves needlework. Since I was a child, I was curious to learn to sew, knit, and embroider and although I did not take courses I learned a little on my own. Today, I want to share with you some photographs of a pair of pants that I reused for my son. My machine has been damaged for months, because the motor and pedal are missing coals, so I did the sewing by hand.

My son grows and gets fat very fast and for now we cannot afford to pay for clothes. I hope you like the idea.

This is the pattern model that I will use to make Adrián's.

I put the sample pants on top to cut leaving about a finger's thick of separation for sewing.

We cut the legs and the length of the pants, always leaving one centimeter for the hem or seam.

Así quedó ya cortado.

This is the final result, once cut.

We turn it inside out and proceed to sew the legs. We fix the fabric with pins so that it does not move

Así queda la costura a mano.

This is how the sewing made by hand looks like.

Doblo el ruedo y procedo a coserlo.

I fold the hem and proceed to sew it.

Since it will be too large for her waist, I stich a bit on the sides.
