Feliz lunes amigas(os) de @Needleworkmonday espero que tengan un feliz inicio de semana. Estos días mi hija @lucianav vió en las redes un modelo de crop muy sencillo y me pidió que le hiciera uno, el que vió era en color negro y ella lo quería en color blanco. Encontre una trozo de tela micro 180 que me había quedado y como los crop no llevan mucha tela se ajustó perfecto para hacer el trabajo.
Debo decir que el blanco es mi color favorito junto con el azul, pero poco me visto de blanco, excepto por una camisa blanca que como diecen nunca debe faltar en nuestro guarda ropa. En otras piezas no me gusta mucho por lo transparente que puede llegar a ser y el cuidado de no ensuciarnos porque es algo que regularmente pasa con este color. nos ensuciamos hasta con el aire jajaja.
Happy Monday friends of @Needleworkmonday I hope you have a happy start of the week. These days my daughter @lucianav saw in the networks a very simple crop top model and asked me to make one for her, the one she saw was in black and she wanted it in white. I found a piece of micro 180 fabric that I had left and as the crop do not carry much fabric it was perfect to do the job.
I must say that white is my favorite color along with blue, but I rarely wear white, except for a white shirt that as they say should never be missing in our wardrobe. In other pieces I do not like much because of how transparent it can be and the care not to get dirty because it is something that regularly happens with this color. we get dirty even with the air hahaha.
Volviendo al tema de lo transparente y pensando en que el top debe quedar ajustado al cuerpo decidí trabajar la pieza de manera doble o forrada en la parte delantera por lo que corté dos piezas iguales para el frente y una pieza para la espalda o parte trasera.
Going back to the topic of the transparent and thinking that the top should be tight to the body I decided to work the piece in a double way or lined in the front so I cut two equal pieces for the front and one piece for the back or back.
Entonces recordé que hay una manera de que las costuras no se vean cuando se trabaja con forros o doble tela y me puse a analizar porque no recordaba jajaja hasta que lo logré. Pasé a trabajar las dos piezas delanteras, enfrenté sus derechos y pasé costura solo por el cuello y las mangas.
Then I remembered that there is a way to make the seams not show when working with lining or double fabric and I started to analyze because I didn't remember hahaha until I did it. I went on to work on the two front pieces, I faced their rights and sewed only the neck and sleeves.
Luego tomé la pieza de la espalda y le hice cuello. mangas y ruedo.
Then I took the back piece and made the collar, sleeves and hem.
Vino así el proceso para unir ambas piezas y que la costura quedara oculta y la prenda forrada. Entonces con la parte delantera al revés introduje entre ambas telas delanteras, la parte de la espalda hasta que los hombros coincidieran y pasé costura en los hombros. Hice que coincidieran los costados y también pasé costura en cada lado o costado, solo que deje un espacio sin coser en uno de los costados, para poder voltear la penda al terminar de pasar todas las costuras..
Then came the process to join both pieces so that the seam would be hidden and the garment would be lined. Then with the front part inside out I inserted between the two front fabrics, the back part until the shoulders matched and sewed the shoulder seams. I matched the sides and also stitched each side, but left a seam allowance on one side so that I could turn the garment inside out when all the seams were sewn.
El top lleva una tira de flecos en el pico de la parte delentera, que es el adorno de la prenda, también lo cosí, de manera que toda costura no se vea al final.
The top has a strip of fringe at the peak of the bottom, which is the adornment of the garment, I also sewed it, so that all seams are not visible at the end.
Por el espacio de uno de los costados que no cosí procedí a voltaer la prenda y con todos los dedos cruzados para que todo quedara perfecto jajaja y así fue todas las costuras quedaron como quería, al final cerré el espacio del costado con una pequeña costura recta.
For the space on one of the sides that I didn't sew I proceeded to turn the garment and with all my fingers crossed so that everything would be perfect hahaha and so it was, all the seams were as I wanted, at the end I closed the space on the side with a small straight seam.
Pasamos a las pruebas de vestauario y vemos el resultado una prenda muy linda con un acabado de fabrica jajaja.
Este proceso me ha encantado, no imaginan lo rápido que fué una hora entre cortar y coser osea super fácil y lo mejor que me ha dado la idea de crear una prenda reversible en dos tonos, de manera de poderla usar en diferentes combinaciones, espero tener tiempo para hacerla.

We went to the vestauario tests and we see the result a very nice garment with a factory finish hahaha.
I loved this process, you can't imagine how fast it was one hour between cutting and sewing, so super easy and the best thing is that it has given me the idea of creating a reversible garment in two tones, so that I can use it in different combinations, I hope to have time to do it.

Hola amiga @mariela-b. Tengo un tiempo ya queriendo hacerme unas blusitas bien lindas que sean bien lindas , aunque no soy tan experta en las costuras. Pero no he tenido tanta motivación, pero al ver tu crop top, me entusiasma seguir un modelo similar pero mas abajo de la cintura. Te quedó muy lindo te felicito 😉🤝
