Un conjunto para estar en casa nunca está demás, la ropa para estar en casa son una prenda muy particular ya que debe ser muy cómoda y linda a la vez ya que estar en casa no debe significar estar desarreglada sino aportar frescura, belleza y comodidad. Muy importante debe ser el tipo de tela que escojamos, mientras más adaptable y suave a la piel mejor.
A set to be at home is never too much, the clothes to be at home are a very particular garment because it must be very comfortable and cute at the same time because being at home should not mean to be untidy but to bring freshness, beauty and comfort. Very important should be the type of fabric we choose, the more adaptable and soft to the skin the better.
Mi hija tiene algunos conjuntos, que cada vez que los lavo le digo que ya cumplieron su tiempo y que los voy a desechar, ya que ni para regalar sirven por lo desgastados, pero a ella le encantan. Entonces me hizo una oferta me haces uno y yo me desprendo de uno y eso hice, tenía una tela guardada de microdurazno con estampados de ojos muy popular en estos tiempos y le hice un conjunto nuevo. También le sirve como pijama.
My daughter has some outfits, that every time I wash them I tell her that they have already served their time and that I am going to throw them away, since they are not even good to give as a gift because they are so worn out, but she loves them. So she made me an offer, you make me one and I'll get rid of one and that's what I did, I had a saved microdurazno fabric with eye prints very popular these days and I made her a new set. It also serves as pajamas.
En Cumaná hace mucho calor, así que no me compliqué en buscar modelo sino que tomé uno que ya tiene, muy bonito y acorde al clima y corté las piezas que necesitaba. Para la camisa corte una pieza delantera y para la espalda una pieza trasera, con cierto corte alto esta última pieza. Corte también unas tiras en color negro a juego con los colores de la tela usada para el conjunto, estas tiras las colocaré de adorno por todo el borde del cuello y contorno de mangas.
In Cumaná it is very hot, so I didn't look for a model, I took one that she already has, very nice and according to the weather and cut the pieces she needed. For the shirt I cut a front piece and for the back a back piece, with some high cut this last piece. I also cut some strips in black to match the colors of the fabric used for the set, these strips will be placed as decoration around the edge of the neck and sleeve contour.
El short no tiene costuras a los lados por lo que se cortan dos piezas una para la pierna-cadera derecha y una para la pierna-cadera izquierda. No tiene pretina o cintura aparte, ya que agregué los centímetros de tela necesarias a las piezas del short, donde colocaré el elástico.
The shorts have no seams on the sides, so two pieces are cut, one for the right leg-hip and one for the left leg-hip. It does not have a separate waistband, since I added the necessary inches of fabric to the pieces of the shorts, where I will place the elastic.
Lo primero que lleve a la máquina fue el short, uní la dos piezas y pasé costura por el tiro delantero, luego por el tiro trasero, cosí la entre píerna e hice el ruedo y pasé a pegar el elástico.
The first thing I took to the machine was the shorts, I joined the two pieces together and sewed the front and back seams, sewed the inseam, made the hem and then glued the elastic.
Pasé luego a armar la camisa. Uní las dos piezas y pase costura por ambos costados. Luego coloque el detalle del tiro negro en el cuello y también por el cuello de la parte de la espalda. Luego cosí el tiro negro por toda la manga comenzando en la siza de la espalda y pasando por la siza de la parte delantera hasta terminar nuevamente donde comenzamos. Pasé después a coser el ruedo de la camisa.
Then I sewed the shirt. I joined the two pieces together and sewed both sides. Then I placed the black piping detail on the collar and also on the back neck. Then I sewed the black piping all the way down the sleeve starting at the back seam and going through the front seam and ending back where we started. I then went on to sew the hem of the shirt.
Terminado este trabajo que ha sido muy rápido y el resultado muy lindo. Estamos listos para finalizar el primer truque con mi hija. jajaja.

Sé que parece que ella ganó pero yo me despedí de un momento de indecisión terrible al momento de lavar, botar o no botar y eso me da paz.
