Feliz día y feliz inicio de semana amigos artesanos amantes de las agujas en @needleworkmonday. Espero están bien y hayan disfrutado de un excelente fin de semana, estoy intentado organizarme en el tiempo para poder estar más activa en la plataforma y la verdad se me ha hecho difícil pero hoy estamos acá para compartir un poco más de mi trabajo.
En ocasiones nos toca ser creativos con el poco material que nos entregan para hacer una prenda y en esta ocasión es lo que me pasó pero la responsabilidad fue mía por no revisar a tiempo y cuando ya habían pasado unos días me dio pesar solicitar más tela así que gracias a mis retazos logré una prenda aceptable y lo mejor según el gusto de la persona.

Happy day and happy start to the week, fellow crafters and needlework enthusiasts at @needleworkmonday. I hope you are well and enjoyed an excellent weekend. I am trying to organize my time so that I can be more active on the platform, and honestly, it has been difficult, but today we are here to share a little more of my work.
Sometimes we have to be creative with the limited materials we are given to make a garment, and that's what happened to me this time, but it was my fault for not checking in time. After a few days had passed, I felt bad about asking for more fabric, so thanks to my scraps, I managed to make an acceptable garment that was the best I could do according to the person's taste.

Un tema fue elegir el color de retazo adecuado ya que la tela entregada era estampada y no todos los colores me gustaron para combinar, así que elegí un tono azul cielo para sacar la pieza completa del pecho y cuello, ya que la estampada solo dio del busto hacia abajo y las mangas.

One issue was choosing the right scrap fabric color, since the fabric provided was patterned and I didn't like all the colors for combining. So, I chose a sky blue shade for the entire chest and neck area, since the pattern only covered the bust down and the sleeves.

Comencé armando la pieza en tono azul claro haciendo el cuello y uniendo por los hombros la pieza delantera y trasera, ambas en el mismo tono azul.

I started by assembling the light blue piece, making the collar and joining the front and back pieces at the shoulders, both in the same shade of blue.

Luego Uní la pieza delantera estampada a la parte delantera del pecho, lo mismo hice con la parte trasera uniendo ambas piezas.

Then I joined the printed front piece to the front of the chest, and did the same with the back, joining both pieces together.

Para crear uniformidad le coloqué a las mangas un pequeño ruedo en tono azul claro ya que las mangas son estampadas, para luego coserlas a la prenda por toda la sisa. Siguiendo con las costuras laterales y ruedo de la prenda.

To create uniformity, I added a small light blue hem to the sleeves, since they are patterned, and then sewed them to the garment around the armhole. I continued with the side seams and hem of the garment.

Culminado el trabajo con una fresca y sencilla blusa para usar en las tardes calurosas o ir de paseo.

The project is complete with a cool and simple blouse to wear on hot afternoons or when going for a walk.
