Hello hive ,

Greetings to all my creative’s friends on hive and needlework community how are you all doing happy weekend to you all.

Today I will love to share this beautiful gown I made for my client daughter I saw this style online but it’s has a design on it but my client can’t afford the price of the design so I decided to sew it plain and it came out beautiful and classy .

I bought 2 and half trouser of material
And a pieces of lace material for the sleeve edges.

I folded the material into four I measure the length of the gown to be 58” then I measured the shoulder to 7.5” after then the armhole curve and I input the burst measurement plus 2.5” allowance, waist and the hips before cutting I folded 2” at the front then I sew it first and open and iron it before turning the neckline.

After cutting the body I cut out the sleeve then I weave the all the pieces have cut before joining them.

I made this gown inorder to show my Muslim clients especially Abaya lovers and the gown look like Abaya already after sewing and ironing, add a little stoning to it and it will stand out well if you want to sew yours. I would have love to stone the gown but my client didn’t pay for that🤣.

Final look

This is beautiful sis, blue is actually one of my favorite color and I like the design of how you made this. It looks perfect and well fitted like a ready to wear outfit. Well done sis.
